Democratic Gov. J.B. Pritzker on Tuesday signed an executive order aimed at ensuring the state is properly enforcing a politically divisive law that allows for the taxpayer funding of abortions — saying he was “concerned” former Gov. Bruce Rauner’s administration wasn’t “making sure that it was enforced for state government employees.”
The move prompted one Republican legislator to accuse Pritzker of running a “highly-politicized and left wing administration.”
Pritzker signed the executive order at a Planned Parenthood of Illinois office in Chicago, while also commemorating the 46th anniversary of the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, which effectively legalized abortion across the nation. Pritzker said his order will instruct the Illinois Department of Central Management and Services to make sure all state insurance plans are fully compliant with the law by July 1. It also instructs the department to detail coverage for abortions and identify where coverage doesn’t comply with the law.

Pritzker and Cuomo are two of the most miserable men in America. Yet it is indicative how decadent parts of America have become since these two vile men were elected to their offices.
The CMP videos are being discussed in the news as providing evidence of PP’s continuing to use the banned/illegal partial birth procedures in order to get intact organs to sell... with new priorities in DC we may see some action.. it will surely come up as an argument in funding fights...
I see this and the outrageous “up to birth abortions” bill in NY state as an opening salvo in a war about the SCOTUS. For 50 years the SCOTUS has stubbornly supported its own ruling about abortion in Roe V Wade. The states want an extremely extreme case to go forward and get struck down so they can rally to impeach judges, get no more Trump judges confirmed, all that. My theory anyway.

The “right” to have your unborn baby murdered is inviolate under the principle of “privacy”, but seeking therapy to counter your interest in those of the same sex is prohibited.

next step will be conservatives- as they should have been aborted- just another way for the state to sanction murder of its opponents
