I think the President has made a very smart move here he’s told the democrats to make a deal or he’s going to call for a nation emergency to build the wall he’s especially going to be justified with the new caravan of people heading this way I know a Leftist judge will overturn this but I do think if he can get this to the Supreme Court he can provel this may be his only route to getting the wall I know he would much rather have Congress approve the wall it legitimise it more I’m afraid if he builds it thru a national emergency the next leftist President will have it tore down
The courts have no say in a declared national emergency. Trump can build the Wall with absolute authority. He prefers to do so with the support of the Congress. Nancy and Schumer both insisted that they will negotiate in good faith if Trump signs temporary legislation to open the gov. A series of negotiations with Congressional leaders have agreed to this compromise. Now we will see what happens. Make no mistake, the Wall will get built with or without the congress.
