This video was another Rorschach test. Everyone saw something different.
Like everyone else all over the internet, at first, I too assumed the man was defending the woman and child, just because they were standing behind him and he turned and looked at the woman at one point. But, notice she didn't react to him.
It turns out, the man's kids are grown, so that woman and child are not his wife and child. Also, someone mentioned in the comments under a news story (somewhere) that the woman and child were only bystanders.
Given that info, watch the video again. The woman and child are standing there outside the store at the beginning. Does she look afraid to you? She looks calm and cool to me. Then the man enters from the righthand side, yelling and shoving people.
His lawyer claims the man saw a woman being harassed inside the store and escorted her outside. Again, that woman with the child was already standing outside when the man appeared. If she's the one he escorted outside, why would she stand there, looking calm?
So, where's the woman he escorted outside? Is she off-camera? Who knows. And why are you assuming she's white? Hundreds of posts here made assumptions about that video.
I don't know who pushed whom first. On video, he's pushing people first. We don't know what happened beforehand. Whatever happened first is not on that video. It's all conjecture. JMHO.
