President Trump’s campaign wasted no time going after Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on Saturday shortly before she was expected to formally announce her candidacy for the White House in 2020.
“Elizabeth Warren has already been exposed as a fraud by the Native Americans she impersonated and disrespected to advance her professional career, and the people of Massachusetts she deceived to get elected,” Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement.
“The American people will reject her dishonest campaign and socialist ideas like the Green New Deal, that will raise taxes, kill jobs and crush America's middle-class. Only under President Trump's leadership will America continue to grow safer, secure and more prosperous,” he added.
The statement came just before Warren was slated to give a speech in which she is widely expected to announce her bid for the presidency.
It marked the first time that the Trump campaign has issued such a statement blasting an announcement from a Democratic presidential hopeful, after several candidates jumped into the race earlier this year.
Warren, an outspoken critic of Trump and his administration, has maintained a fraught relationship with the president throughout his tenure.
Trump early on latched onto Warren's past claims of Native American ancestry, often questioning those claims and disparagingly referring to her as "Pocahontas."
Warren's claims of Native American heritage has continued to dog her as she has explored a presidential bid.
Warren sought to get ahead of criticism stemming from those claims by releasing the results of a DNA test in October. The results "strong evidence" she had Native American ancestry, likely from an ancestor from between six and 10 generations ago.
Still, the senator was rebuffed by many Native Americans for taking the test, prompting her to apologize. Native Americans scrutinized Warren's decision, expressing concerns about using science and DNA tests to gauge racial and ethnic identity.
“This is our family’s story, and it’s all consistent from that point in time. But as I said, it’s important to note I’m not a tribal citizen and I should have been more mindful of the distinction,” Warren told reporters on Wednesday.
Warren previously apologized to members of the Cherokee Nation for her claims.
She just announced her candidacy,by the way.

PDJT’s campaign is right to fight fire with fire by issuing pre-buttals, as do the Regressive ‘RAT Socialists. Sustained incoming political shots to keep their heads down and on defense is a good strategy — make the miscreants respond on your terms and defend their turf.
I thought “cultural appropriation” was a big no-no with the Donks. I guess not so much. Every day we see examples of their hypocracy and their belief that the ends justify the means.

Using an open records request during a general inquiry, The Washington Post obtained Elizabeth Warren’s registration card for the State Bar of Texas, revealing Warren identified as an “American Indian.”
Elizabeth Warren apologized for claiming to be Native American for nearly two decades as she struggles to put the scandal behind her as she prepares to announce her 2020 Presidential bid.
“I can’t go back,” Warren said in an interview with The Washington Post. “But I am sorry for furthering confusion on tribal sovereignty and tribal citizenship and harm that resulted.”
Warren apologized to the chief of the Cherokee Nation last week marking the first time she has ever apologized for falsely claiming Native American heritage.
The Democrat Massachusetts Senator created a firestorm recently after she took a DNA test which only proved she was 1/1024th ‘Peruvian.’
Elizabeth Warren released employment documents last summer to argue that she didn’t use her so-called ‘Native American’ heritage to further her career.
Now we have evidence to the contrary. Elizabeth Warren filled out the registration card by hand and signed it.
This Texas State bar registration card is the first document to be released showing Elizabeth Warren, in her own handwriting, indeed fraudulently used her ‘Native American’ heritage to get ahead.
Warren’s office did not dispute the authenticity of the document, the Washington Post reported.
Elizabeth Warren has made up elaborate stories over the years to bolster her claims that she is Native American.
The Massachusetts Senator even claimed her parents had to elope because her father’s parents were racist and didn’t approve of their son’s Cherokee girlfriend — she shamelessly claimed her Pawpaw’s high cheekbones were proof she is of Native American descent.
In 1996 the Harvard Crimson identified Elizabeth Warren as a woman of color and Native American.
In 1998 Harvard bragged Elizabeth Warren, “who is Native American”, was their only minority tenured woman on staff.
Elizabeth Warren took what could have been given to a REAL Native American — she’s a white woman who stole from minorities and now she’s claiming she will fight for ‘people of color.’
If we had a real media, Elizabeth Warren would have resigned in disgrace years ago for her lies.

The most terrifying thing to me with her is her insistence with going back to the racial home ownership thing that almost brought us to our knees financially in the late nineties and early two thousands.
Government regulations prohibited Fannie and Freddie from buying high-risk mortgages. But as the mortgage market changed, so did their business. Between 2005-2007, they acquired few conventional, fixed-interest loans with 20 percent down. They loaded up on subprime, interest-only, or negative amortization mortgages. But prior to that, Bill Clinton signed bills such as the Community Reinvestment Act (originally signed into law by Jimmy Carter in 1977, then fortified in the Clinton years), which required banks to make loans to people with poor and nonexistent credit histories — made widespread homeownership a national goal. Without these government housing and monetary policies, the crisis would never have occurred.
It was being used to make Cl;inton (and the libs) popular and to promote votes for Gore in 2000 and later when they didn’t come to try to discredit Bush by forcing home loan agencies to give loans to people who could not cover them. And the two that fell on the sword for the rats were the lying Chris Dodd and Barney Frank. Their actions were a major contribution to thousands of mortgage defaults to people that could not afford them in the first place. The loaning agencies warned congress that this would happen and Clinton signed the bills to get it done.
Chris Dodd was covered by Obama up to 2011 when he “retired” from the senate and took a job with the other liberal jobbers, the Motion Picture Association of American from which he is retired from in 2017, because he was identified with the housing loan scandals as a forerunner.
Barney Frank was a member of the House till 2013. He lied about the capability of Freddie and Fanny in the house to add to the loan problem for individuals.
And the idiot Warren is firing up the public to do it again in her speech today. I hope someone reminds her of the meltdown it caused in the early two thousands that led to the worst depression since the late 1920’s.
