Is it possible that the places from which these people come are $h!tholes because such places are full of those people? Can they move away from themselves? If we import Mexico’s population, how would we not simply recreate Mexico? Is Detroit more like an African city, or is it more like Salt Lake City? People make culture, not the other way around.

EXCELLENT POST dforest! So many are under the delusion that Trump has dictatorial powers and can do anything he wants. Trump does not make ANY LAWS. All bills begin in congress and only power president has is either sign the bill and make it a law or veto the bill, in which case congress can override the veto if there is 2/3 majority to kill the veto.
If Trump starts taking things in his own hands willy-nilly, that will only make Bobby Mueller’s job very easy.

Congrats. At least half of the blame for too many junk quality immigrants goes to republicans, including president Reagan who granted UNCONDITIONAL blanket amnesty to ALL ILLEGALS present. What happened next? Illegals flooded in in much bigger number, hoping to get another blanket amnesty.
And don’t even get me started on the Chamber of Commerce republican elites. They obey orders from their mega-donors to import cheap blue collar workers and export manufacturing plants to cheap labor countries abroad.
