What happens if people either refuse to fill out the census or just check the box saying they are citizens when they are not? Is it enforceable, and even if it is, will they have the manpower to do so?

Since these sanctuary cities basically
told Trump to stuff it when he threatened
to cut off their funding, I am thinking
by placing the citizen question back on
the census, that it’s a legal way to
control it. If someone refuses to fill
it out, they can be fined as much as
$5,000. Though no one has been fined
since 1970, Trump my decide to pursue
a more rigorous enforcement. Sanctuary
cities beware.
