Say goodby to your Second Amendment rights in New Mexico. Buy and sell your guns before these become law, usually July 1 unless the Dems tack on an emergency clause making it effective with her signature.

Say what you want about Dems - when they have power, they’re not afraid to use it. Even Scott Walker here in WI balked at constitutional carry, when he had a solid GOP majority.
To: CedarDave
I would imagine that some areas of NM might take this poorly.

Civil disobedience is the first response to leftists who want to control you through the force of government. Of course, there are other responses we could pursue as well.

It’s interesting to me that leftists take the “smorgasbord” view of the law, if they don’t happen to like it, then they ignore it, and refuse to enforce it.
They can’t expect anyone to take them seriously at this point.

Do what they do ,find a Judge to throw it out

Here in York County, Pa, long guns and shotguns require no background check; only handguns do.

Our condolences. NV is getting ready to correct the law passed here in 2016. Now that they are in charge, it could happen. Same kind of deal when transferring firearms.

I know, it’s coming once we lose the GOP-controlled legislature. With the gerrymandering PA-SCOTUS approved, it ain’t that far away, when the demonkkkRATs get total control.

Sales between two law-enforcement officers, for example, would be exempt from the requirement.
How would this be Constitutional? Have LEOs been elevated to a status of super citizens? I seem to remember a phrase “equal protection of the laws”.

Not here either. And the LEOs aren’t going out of their way to enforce it if and when.

More people are picking up on what yellow-bellied invertebrates the GOP really is. IMHO the party can't survive too much longer with the likes of McTerdle and Willard etc...
