But...but I thought by now snow would be a “distant memory” and that our children would wonder what snow is. Also, weren’t all the icecaps supposed to be melted by now and all the polar bears dead?

To put it simply, weather is the day-to-day changes in atmospheric conditions, while climate is the weather over the long run in a particular region. Sounds to me like they just admitted that all these "monster" and "named" storms have nothing to do with "global warming". Oops. Thank you CNN. Changes in day to day temperatures are also do to changes in atmospheric conditions. Wow. CNN is catching on.

So while we need more research to determine if global warming is causing colder temperatures in some areas in the US, what is clear is that the mere presence of a Minnesota snowstorm in February is not evidence that global warming doesn't exist. If it's cold, that's the weather.
If it's hot, that's the climate.

What’s to fact check here? Was it snowing, or wasn’t it?

conflating two things: weather and global climate.They started it. They attribute every bit of warm weather to Global Warming.
Turn about is fair play.

Holding a rally outdoors in a snowstorm, without any backup indoor venue at the ready, really speaks to her abilities for planning and to lead our country.

Anyone with a functional brain understands the difference bewteen weather and climate. Just as they understand that the climate has been changing since time immemorial and without regard for the actions of mankind.
That’s it. Settled science in one sentence.

Some scientists, however, believe.... Thats all you need to know. Oh, except that scientists that dont believe are ostracized.

"Some scientists, however, believe that it's because of warming that we see more extreme colds as well. "
That's called fact checking? "Some" scientists believe....?

To put it simply, weather is the day-to-day changes in atmospheric conditions, while climate is the weather over the long run in a particular region.And when none of your "long run" predictions come true, we can laugh at you for repeating the warnings, right? I seem to recall extreme cold wasn't part of the plan... we were supposed to see an end to snow. Since there's still snow, it must be part of global warming!
Anyone who believes this crap is just stupid.

We will have glaciers reaching the base of the Space Needle before the warmistas around here will admit that “global warming” is no longer “settled science”.

COLD = weather
HEAT= climate
In Winter we say climate change, in summer we say glabal warming.

So, no, scientists don’t claim to be able to control the weather. That’s superstition.
We dream big; politicians think about controlling the global climate.
My tagline.

First of all, Trump is conflating two things: weather and global climate. To put it simply, weather is the day-to-day changes in atmospheric conditions, while climate is the weather over the long run in a particular region.
And yet, whenever there is a hurricane, tornado, drought, wildfire, etc.; the Democrats and the media announce that they are proof positive of anthropogenic global warming.
Funny how that works.
