Today it’s actually happened and half the country not only does not care, their only concern is that it didn’t succeed. It’s really hard to see how we ever recover fron this level of lawlessness. Surely we can never unite with those that desire unlimited government. I fear we remain on a course that can only end in the breakup of the nation into two seperate countries or a violent and bloody war.

The evidence of a coup attempt has not been clearly presented to “the country”, or you might say it hasn’t gotten our attention.
“The country” has yet to absorb the massive emerging truth that Trump was falsely, knowingly, accused of collusion with Russia.
“The country” has yet to absorbe the truth that the Clinton team broke laws.
“The country” has yet to absorb the truth that our media has lied to us.
I’m not as cynical about “the country” as the author is.
Half the country does not know there was a coup attempt. So why would they care? They believe the media lies and propaganda they have been fed.

Also, who would believe we’d live in a time where a major political party would not just tolerate illegal aliens but would promote them as better and more worthy to be in this country than Americans.
