LEAKED AUDIO: Google Discusses ‘Steering’ the Conservative Movement
Breitbart ^ | 3/7/2019

Posted on 03/07/2019 6:33:28 AM PST by Altura Ct.

Google’s senior director of U.S. public policy, Adam Kovacevich appeared to describe the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) as a “sideshow Circus,” in a leaked audio recording in which he also argued that Google should remain a sponsor of the conference to “steer” the conservative movement “away from nationalistic and incendiary comments.”

The comments came to light in leaked audio files allegedly of a company-wide meeting at Google, part of which is now exclusively reported by Breitbart News. Another part of the transcript was released last Friday on Tucker Carlson Tonight, while further snippets revealing Google’s funding of establishment conservative think-tanks were published by the left-leaning tech magazine Wired in December.

The alleged meeting took place in the wake of Google’s sponsorship of CPAC in 2018, which triggered an internal rebellion from left-wing employees of the tech giant. Breitbart News exclusively reported on the revolt at the time, in which radical left-wingers inside Google accused CPAC of “ethno-nationalism” and “hate.”

That might partially explain the lack of speeches/discussions on immigration.

The audacity of this guy. What right does he have to have any say in CPAC? Show me any conservative that is attempting to “steer” democrats. Talk about a walking visual/audio for the argument that the left is all about power and control. Hey Libs...stay in your lane.

Every time you use the google search engine or any google technology, you help pay google and this allows them to use that money to try and control you.

“...WHY does google have a senior director of U.S. public policy?? Does Kmart?...”
Kmart probably doesn’t. But then, Kmart isn’t controlled & monitored by DS. Google, FB, etc. are tools of DS.

Finally proof that the Uber Left is actively infiltrating Conservative groups to either damage them or drag them left.
And it all started in AZ with McCain and his staff back in 2002

CPAC is run by the ACU. The foreign invasion is not a high priority for them, whatever else the views they promote.

Google stands for inclusiveness, we stand for tolerance, we stand for building products for everyone, and if certain outlets don’t like that, we are probably going to be at odds with them perpetually, right?

Have you noticed that 'inclusiveness' ONLY applies to left wing groups accepting LEFT WING GROUPS.

And 'tolerance'? It's only for their fellow leftwingers. When google is 'tolerant' it does NOT include anyone different than themselves. They're NOT 'tolerant' of gun owners, the NRA, or right to lifers. They're 'tolerant' of liberal victim groups. Period.

Hard to believe they can mouth the words without realizing what idiots they sound like.

All Trump is doing is preventing the inevitable, much like Andrew Jackson (his favorite president).

CPAC had a SINGLE 20-min seminar on immigration.

That’s like going to the annual AIPAC confab, wading through days of knitting classes, then getting a single pamphlet about Israel.

And note the verbiage, “Google should REMAIN a sponsor of CPAC”:

How many would have gone, had they known that at the start..?

They didn’t let Laura Loomer in and did you know CPAC took down their video documenting the Michelle Malkin speech..?

I think very soon, the Federal Trade Commission and the Securities & Exchange Commission are going to ask really hard whether Google, Facebook and Twitter all violated US securities laws with their heavy-handed censorship of conservatives.

That might partially explain the lack of speeches/discussions on immigration.

We talk about "Fredocon" conservatives. Fredo, in The Godfather, was the weak son of Don Corleone, who betrayed the Family to their enemies, in exchange for a promise of being put in charge after the Don, Sonny, and Michael were dead.

We have real Fredo-types, the people who only care about keeping donor cash flowing, and will compromise everything for that. The Boy Scouts were destroyed as a conservative institution because the board cared more about corporate sponsors who wanted the Scouts to stop excluding gays, than about the boys they were supposed to care about. The RNC cares more about corporate donors who want free immigration than about American citizens.

That's why I voted Trump. I figured he was rich enough to not be as interested in getting paid off.

So, was it reverse listening in? “Ciri (or echo or alexa or whatever it’s called), tap meeting.” Surprise, surprise, surprise. No doubt they’ll have an excuse of some sort. Someone misunderstood what was said or they did it to see if someone was listenting in.

Virtually all large corporations have government and public relations shops. How they are organized and what they are called will vary. Sponsoring high visibility events is a common strategy. It is done for branding, for networking opportunities, sometimes to buy goodwill, and sometimes to be at least symbolically evenhanded if they’ve already engaged on the other side. Agreeing with the sponsored group is not a requirement, though violent and irreconcilable disagreement would probably bar participation. Here it sounds like Google wanted to make a gesture of goodwill indicating an openness to discussion, while some radical employees want to play scorched earth politics. Google really does need to fire some of its unhinged people. There are probably sane people in Google who understand this. Their situation is a lot like faithful priests and lay leaders wondering what to do about the Catholic hierarchy.
