Defeated but unrepentant, some jihadists limping out of their besieged final bastion in eastern Syria still praise the Islamic State and promise bloody vengeance against its enemies.
The skeletal and dishevelled figures shuffling out of the smouldering ashes of the "caliphate" may look like a procession of zombies, but their devotion seems intact. At an outpost for US-backed forces outside the besieged village of Baghouz, 10 women stand in front of journalists, pointing their index fingers to the sky in a gesture used by IS supporters to proclaim the oneness of God.
They shout in unison: "The Islamic State is here to stay!"
Most refuse to disclose their names or nationalities.

ISIS is Islam. It will never be defeated, although it may take on different names, as long as Islam exists. So, fighting these people in their countries is pointless. The only practical solution is to keep Muslims out of non-Muslim nations. That is how they are a threat to the rest of us. Let them keep killing each other in their own dirt-bag countries.

I forget where I read it, but long ago I read a writing by an author who found a revolutionary/terrorist, for the wrong side of a conflict... long long after the conflict was done... it wasn’t a work of fiction, but a true expose, on what happens to these hot tempered fools, long after they have been long defeated.... It was an interesting read.... wish I could remember where I read it at... or even which failed “revolution” the man was part of....
Anyone who belongs to this terror group needs to be eliminated just like they eliminated people. Give them a choice:
hanging, crucifixion, burned alive, head chopped off, or thrown off a high building.
Still defiant? Then it would be a mistake to stop killing them.
