Yeah that’s true. Heck the 2000 election was closer than this election. So 16 years have gone by and we got more electoral votes than back then.

What concerns me is the NEW HEIGHTS they are going to, or new lows really, in teaching transexual garbage etc.

I really hope that doesn’t take!

Excellent point! I hadn't realized that until you pointed it out!

Agreed. They are really going off the deep end, aren't they.

Dick Morris pointed out in several of his videos how — after the election of Margaret Thatcher, back in 1979 — British Labour party went even more left-wing than they had been through most of the '70s; this ensured them years "wandering in the wilderness," so to speak, until they elected Tony Blair in 1997. Eighteen years later!

Also I'm reminded of the story Rush Limbaugh used to tell all the time, about how when he was starting out in the talk-show host business in Sacramento, he found out that certain topics (he mentioned ESP and paranormal stuff) could "make the phone lines light up," with lots of passionate callers wanting get on the air. Only problem was, they were mostly nutcases, and ordinary listeners didn't want to listen to their ranting and raving and personal stories about alien abduction and poltergeists.

In other words, Rush found out that certain topics are no good because they attract callers that drive the vast majority of the audience away; those topics are poison, but some young talk show hosts pursue them because they think getting a lot of callers means you have a lot of listeners. Of course, advertisers pay for listeners, not callers, so those topics are actually toxic.

My hope is that the Democrats are in a sense falling for the same trap. They think that being able to whip up and trigger a lot of rabble-rousers and crazies means they're winning the hearts and minds of a majority of ordinary Americans. I don't think that's the case.

I don't think PDJT thinks so either.
