CNN Poll: Support for impeachment falls among Democrats
CNN ^ | March 20, 2019 | Jennifer Agiesta

Support for impeaching President Donald Trump has fallen 7 points since December, a CNN Poll conducted by SSRS finds, following Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi calling impeachment "so divisive to the country."

The decline -- from 43% in favor in December to 36% now -- stems largely from a change in Democratic views on impeaching the President. In December, 80% of self-identified Democrats said they were in favor of impeachment -- that now stands at 68%, a 12-point dip. Among independents and Republicans, support for impeachment has fallen 3 points over the same time.

They are starting to wake up, realizing it won't work, it will only backfire on them.

When commies begin to realize the whole Russia collusion nonsense was just that..total nonsense! I think the reason why President Trump is even mentioning McCain’s name now is because he knows something BIG is about to drop about McCain’s role in ALL OF THIS

They are starting to wake up, realizing it won't work, it will only backfire on them.

Maybe some of them are getting disgusted with the behavior of their party.

Remember Trump threatening to declassify some things if they don’t knock it off? Since then Pelosi has completely changed her tune and a lot of the Democrat party has backed off the rhetoric as well. They know the Mueller report is a nothing burger and Trump isn’t bluffing.

47% say it's very or somewhat likely the president will be personally implicated in wrongdoing
There's that 47% again... The same 47% that are completely detached from reality and would not vote Republican if Hitler were the Democrat.

And a USA Today/Suffolk poll that came out Monday had support for impeachment at 28% ....

Support for the House of Representatives to seriously consider impeaching the president has dropped since last October by 10 percentage points, to 28 percent.

all of their impeachment bullsheit has accomplished its purposes... to tie up and stymie as much as possible our president while in office. and to reduce the public approval of him so as to make it harder for him to be re-elected

Mission Accomplished, drop the impeachment talk now....

and don’t be embarrassed by the total lack of ANY evidence of wrongdoing... just try to let the impeachment talk die down ‘naturally’ and as quietly as possible

The Democrats are dropping it, because they know it will blow up in their faces if they try it. So, they’ve gone as far as they can with the ‘talk’ of impeachment, but they don’t want to commit suicide by actually doing it.

"Schiff & Nadler kind of quiet recently ?"

Maybe enough democrat party constituents are smart enough to see countless investigations result in little or no fruitful legislation.

Nahhh, nevermind.

the biggest take from this poll is only 2 per cent state climate change/global warming is their top issue! so much for the Dems’ agenda:

P12: In your own words, please tell me what ONE ISSUE will be most important to you in deciding whom to support in next year’s presidential election:

Immigration: 20 per cent
Climate change/global warming: 2 per cent
