Last Friday, our country was shocked by a brutal and senseless attack. We recognise our world has changed.
Police focus is on ensuring the immediate safety and peace of mind of our communities.
Today, the Government has made immediate changes to classifications in the Arms Act which will mean some firearms are going to be reclassified as military style semi-automatic firearms (MSSAs).

A future president Chelsea Clinton wouldn’t hesitate to try the same thing here, second amendment or not. They’ll wait for the right time to strike when the public outcry is the greatest and it’ll be done in an instant, leaving gunowners as felons fighting against an outraged public. Constitutional rights mean very little to zealots in power who are determined to take them away.

This is what’s so great about the parliamentary system. An event can happen and a law can be passed in reaction to it in less than a week, turning law-abiding citizens into instant felons.
In a parliamentary system, the constitution is whatever a majority of Parliament decides it is. Double jeopardy, banned by the Magna Carta can be imposed by a simple act of Parliament; whatever Parliament votes on, is the constitution.
You can instantly see why it is superior to our Constitution and Bill of Rights. Since our Constitution is actually written down in words that many can read and understand, it is difficult for our betters to impose their will on us. They’d really like to change this, for society’s betterment, of course.
The Chicoms will buy NZ. Lock, stock and barrel. And they know how to deal with muzzies.

I always knew that New Zealand was NOT the place to move to or to admire. I knew it many years ago, even when it seemed that everyone else was falling all over themselves trying to get there, claiming it was the last, best place to be in the world ... LOL ...
I had a good buddy who was a USMC sniper in Vietnam. He once dropped an NVA colonel from 1400 yards away, using a Remington 700.
The Remington 700 has been a very popular hunting rifle for over 50 years.
So, New Zealand (and USA gun grabbers), is the Remington a harmless hunting rifle or an evil “weapon of war”?
BTW, my Marine sniper buddy carried a rifle with a wood stock, not one of those evil black synthetic ones.
that island is looking like free real estate to the Chinese at this point. Increase your native population and then wait for the right American President. Boom, new naval base and airfields for just dropping off some troops. You could even pull it off as part of a port visit.
