There shouldn’t be any dispute over land ownership. God granted Title and Deed to Israel 4,000 years ago and recorded it in the best Registrar of Deeds known to man:

Genesis 15:18

In the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

That same Title was transferred through Isaac by promise. Not Ishmael!

Why is this area ‘disputed?’

We all know it is a prime (amazon probably wants Israel to give it up) area for Hezbollah Syria Iran et al to attack Israel with dire results.

I thought it was written in stone many years ago that this area belongs to Israel period

They gave it back to Egypt.

I just know that when Israel was attacked in the last century several times one time (at least) they won against Egypt.

And to the victor belong the spoils

It’s rare for a victor to allow the defeated nation keep their territory

In one of our wars with Mexico I recall that we won.

We occupied Mexico City and could have claimed all of Mexico as US territory

But we didn’t

Imagine how successful and prosperous Mexico would be if we would have claimed it as part of the USA?

But instead the waste of not properly managing their natural resources (oil etc) the profits of which are stolen by the elitists billionaires.

As a new FReeper I am learning a lot from the vast amount of research done here.

I’m making my way through these threads one by one and studying the history shared by the many members who also have roots to Israel.

As a Born Again Gentile, I love the Jews and pray for Israel and the Apple of God’s Eye, His people.

I pray for the peace of Israel and am very concerned about the direction of world events concerning Israel, the peace process, and particularly the manner in which America treats Israel. Will we be judged as a goat nation or a sheep nation?

Yes, I seen that earlier.

My understanding is that when the true borders are enlarged in the near future, according to Biblical reference, it will actually be even bigger than that.

From the Nile River in Egypt, including the Sinai, the Arab Peninsula, much of modern Iraq, most of Syria and all of Lebanon.
