The 77-year-old billionaire, who strongly denies two misdemeanor charges of soliciting prostitution after two visits to the Orchids of Asia Spa in Jupiter, Florida in January, said in a statement, In deference to the judicial process, I have remained silent these past several weeks. To correct some of the misinformation surrounding this matter, my attorney made his first public comments on Friday night. I would like to use this opportunity to say something that I have wanted to say for four weeks.
I am truly sorry. I know I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard.
Throughout my life, I have always tried to do the right thing. The last thing I would ever want to do is disrespect another human being. I have extraordinary respect for women; my morals and my soul were shaped by the most wonderful woman, the love of my life, who I was blessed to have as my partner for 50 years.
As I move forward, I hope to continue to use the platform with which I have been blessed to help others and to try to make a difference. I expect to be judged not by my words, but by my actions. And through those actions, I hope to regain your confidence and respect.
Kraft was devastated when his wife Myra died of cancer aged 68 in 2011. He told the Boston Globe in 2013 of his loneliness and grief, I sort of feel robbed
.Im blessed with four great children and eight grandchildren, he said, knocking on the wood of his desk. But you go home, and you go home alone, and no ones there. Its just really sad.

He should have just kept his mouth shut.
I HATE apologies like this!!!
“I’m a guy. I cracked. I got caught. It is what it is.”
Fake apologies sicken me.
Everyone’s only sorry they got caught.
I got caught.
You dont owe any of us an apology sir
Man got needs.
They’re saying this is human trafficking without any evidence. The lady is in her 50s and is the owner of the place and loves Kraft and the other person is in her late 40s.
Don't tell us, tell God - admit that you're a sinner and that you need to be saved from your sins.
Ask Jesus to run your life. Man, that's better than all six of your Super Bowl trophies!
Kamala Harris wants to make prostitution legal, so what’s the problem, he went and paid for sex using his OWN money, and the issue is...
do what phil robertson did- repent- then he became a preacher-
Who did he hurt? He went for a massage. Millions of people get a massage. There are massage businesses in cities and towns across America.
Who did he hurt?
That works for me. I’ve got no problems with the man.
Sometimes apologies mean nothing. You did what you did because you could. da
“Who did he hurt?”
Obviously some FReepers don’t believe in presumed innocence.
Dont think he has to explain anything to anyone.
Besides people already decided about it anyway.
Now, it is important for the police to apologize for taking advantage of biology to entrap men and ruin lives among consenting adults.
No police should be in the business of secretly video recording naked people. This is beneath the dignity of any police department, and is something the Stasi in former East Germany would do.
If there are any women who were freed from sexual slavery, the police should now produce them. Why did this go on for 8 months while the trafficked women worked as slaves in partnership with the detectives?
In a free country, there are questions the police need to answer.
My Grandparents were married for over 50 years. If you could read my Grandpas diary entry the day my Grandma died it would rip your heart out. I tear up just thinking about it. Mr. Kraft has my sympathy. I can’t imagine what my thought process would be if I lost my husband. 36 years this May.
At his age I’m sure he’ll worry about where he’ll end up plus how he will be remembered at his funeral.
