Businesses, Residents Plan to Leave New York

A new poll shows a third of New York residents plan to move because they can't afford to stay.

Businesses that are closing cited "economic" reasons for their decision. They represent a wide array of industries including a biotech company, investment bank, internet services, commercial printer, and a Walmart online ordering processor.

New York governor Andrew Cuomo (D.), who is still reeling from the loss of Amazon, told CBS local news on Wednesday he was "sick to my stomach" and it was the "greatest tragedy I have seen since I've been in government." Amazon's deal would have provided $27 billion in revenues to the state and 25,000 new jobs.

A third of New Yorkers indicated they will leave as they cannot afford to live there, and 35 percent say they "will be forced to move in the next five years for better economic opportunity."

Then the states that these people want to go to should administer a test to determine if they will keep on their Dumbocrat voting ways.

We’ve heard it often enough. The next David Dinkins will fix it. It’s what they do.

Mr. Cuomo is an idiot. This is “greatest tragedy I have seen since I’ve been in government.” how about 9/11? In his world, budget crises are worse than an enemy attack.

This is an entirely self-inflicted wound upon New York by state and city politicians who fail to grasp basic economics and fail to understand that government is a necessary evil for a free society, not the foundation of a free society.

They promise themselves into a financial corner, impose confiscatory taxes, then complain when people cry “Enough! I’m out of here!”

So they will move out to the rural community and ruin that area.

If you are a new yorker and leave, leave any LIB loser attitudes about anything in new york. They aren’t wanted elsewhere. Be well aware that your idiocy is malignant. Others won’t tolerate your lunacy and uncivil nature.

NYC socialism makes it so costly to do business there that the state has to pay firms to move in. Schools where the kids are running wild don’t help. Trump needs to make an issue of things like this.

The democrats want this. It’s their plan for America. They want us out, imprisoned, brainwashed or dead. The media are the cheerleaders.

Im not exaggerating, they’ve said as much. They don’t want you there if you disagree. They are quickly becoming today’s Nazis.

Please grow up. Not everyone who lives in a Lib controlled state is a Lib and thinks like a Liab.

Geesh.

When Cuomo said conservatives were not welcome in New York State, this conservative started packing his bags.

What you punish you get less of
What you reward you get more of

Maybe New York politicians should reflect on what the true function a government is and is not.

Met my new neighbor yesterday. I was concerned we would get some northeast liberal which happened next door. I was relieved to hear the name of his dog: gunner. Seems it is a short hair pointer and he is from further south in Florida from here. He says he escaped. Welcome!
