Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) on Monday blocked a resolution calling for special counsel Robert Mueller's report to be released publicly.
Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) asked for unanimous consent for the nonbinding resolution, which cleared the House 420-0, to be passed by the Senate following Mueller's submission of his final report on Friday.
"Whether or not you're a supporter of President Trump ... there is no good reason not to make the report public," Schumer said from the floor. "It's a simple request for transparency. Nothing more, nothing less."
But McConnell objected, noting that Attorney General William Barr is working with Mueller to determine what in his report can be released publicly and what cannot. "The special counsel and the Justice Department ought to be allowed to finish their work in a professional manner," McConnell said. "To date, the attorney general has followed through on his commitments to Congress. One of those commitments is that he intends to release as much information as possible."
Under Senate rules, any one senator can try to pass or set up a vote on a bill, resolution or nomination. But in turn, any one senator can block their request.

They have no legal right to any of the following and to urge that ,in some cases is conspiracy to commit a crime.
1. No grand Jury information. NONE!! ( Rule 6e— contempt of court!!)
2. executive privilege by the president. He must protect at all cost for future presidents.
3.No classified information such as hillary released. That is a violation of the espionage act. FELONY!!!
4. No release of sources or methods by intelligent or law enforcement agencies.
5.absolutely no information concerning any unindicted individual. That smears innocent people.

Not according to Alan Dershewitz. He said, correctly, that the Mueller report was put together by rabid anit-Trump activists. What’s needed is for the Trump lawyers to comb through it and respond/rebut the nonsense.

If so, the media has a copy, IMHO.
The White House and the Trump Campaign turned over millions of pages of documents requested by Mueller. Many, probably hundreds of thousands of those are privileged. Some of the information in the report is almost certainly privileged information the WH has legitimate authority to withhold under Executive Privilege. They cooperated with Mueller in good faith. I would expect the WH will review the report before it's release and direct Barr to redact as appropriate.
Schumer ought to be told to shut up and sit down and not to speak again.
He was allowed to speak and he lied every time. Now he is no longer allowed to speak.
If he doesn’t get “shut up” the first time, add two short words in the middle and repeat.
I will listen to nothing from the Left that is not a confession of guilt and shame. Until we hear those confessions there is nothing they can say worth listening to.
Of course, Trump may be perfectly happy to have the report, which does exonerate him by what it does not contain, released. Letting the Left go balls to the wall to demand its release would just play into his hands.

I am 100% against anything Dem, however, in this case I am for release of everything legally releasable in the Mueller report for two reasons:
1. No matter anything else the Dem/media/Deep State will for at least the next two years yammer on about how AG Barr blocked/is shielding evidence of PDJT crimes ( which are not), in the manner everyone knows the Obama DOJ blocked Hillary’s crimes (which are). Seeing the full investigation can only (as far as it is possible) shut them up.
2. The release of report can/should fully reveal the extent of the ‘Special Prosecutor’ extortionist sausage making.
