Pelosi Struggles to Explain Why House Democrats Have Gotten So Little Done in First 100 Days

So far, House Democrats haven’t been able to do much of anything in terms of legislation. They’ve passed bills on campaign finance and gun control, but none of those have a prayer to pass in the Senate. They attempted to stop Trump’s national emergency declaration to fund a border wall but failed to rally the votes to overturn his veto. A huge percentage of the votes that pass don’t even impact the laws in the U.S. According to a report from Roll Call, nearly one in five votes that passed in the House since Democrats took office are non-binding resolutions, such as the watered-down resolution to condemn anti-Semitism.

In less than 100 days, they have already surrendered on their ability to even pass a budget - their primary duty under the Constitution.

Completely dysfunctional.

“The 100 days of disappointment" is a catchy description, but this dysfunctionality is real.

They’ve done loads of interviews with their propaganda branch to keep people in a panic over Russia and Trump while having people worry about the President’s tax returns, health, travel, statements, views on media, anything to distract from the reality that the President is doing a great job.

You can imagine the Trump advertisements in July/August of 2020...call your Democratic congressman and ask them what they did over the 18 months...item by item.

If it’s less than four lines, why bother having a full-time congress?

And start publishing locally, their legislative records! I mean virtually none of the RAT Presidential “candidates” who are in the House or the Senate, have passed a single bill other than say naming post offices.

That’s my take on it. They are expending most, nearly all, of their time and energy (BTW funded by our tax dollars) in a futile, politically motivated attempt to “get” President Trump. Where “get” is pretty much anything they can do to stop or slow his MAGA agenda. Because yes, they don’t want to see the President succeed, they don’t want to make America great - they just want power, and they are willing to hurt us all to get it.

Personally, I am very grateful to the Almighty that they have gotten nothing done, because the things they do when they have the power are pretty awful. If Mr. Trump can find a way send these invaders home and fix voter fraud, then hopefully that will be the end of their careers.
