Anyone should know that EVERY LAW is only as good as the next Congress. Each law can be repealed by a Congressional action immediately after passage and signing and there have been a few cases where that happened.

President Trump is able to build a wall today because of a law written in the 1970s and there isn’t a thing congress can do about it today.
