Hundreds of asylum seekers surrendered to an armed militia of New Mexico citizens last night, after trying to cross the U.S. border.
A group of 300 men, women and children gave themselves up to the 'United Constitutional Patriots', a gang of vigilantes who claim to be made up of veterans and former police officers, who then handed them over to border officials.
Video recorded by one of the militia, Jim Benvie, who has been camping out on the New Mexico-Chihuahua border for two months, shows the asylum seekers walking on a dirt road having crossed through a fence gap in Sundland Park, New Mexico.
The emergence of the vigilante group comes amid a boom in asylum seekers aiming to make their way into the U.S. through New Mexico, and the El Paso sector.

Comment: The militia is not a "Vigilante Group" as baldly stated in this article. The Militia is constitutionally recognized in the 2nd amendment of the Constitution.Of course, Brit reporters still do not understand the details of what actually happened in 1776, the establishment of a truly Free Nation.
Interesting how leftist reporters seek to defame and discredit a genuinely legal citizen based militia movement. DHS doesn't like the militia in New Mexico simply because they cannot control it. Vigilantes ? The militia is not.
I hope the militia movement grows to be 10,000 strong along our Southern Border, then the asinine Donks in Congress will have to change their stupid immigration laws.

I'd like to see at least ten times that number. It'll take that many of us to create any meaningful impact on the issue.
If they were vigilantes, the illegals would be dead, or at least badly wounded . . . journalists are dumber than dirt these days.

Bush League Republicans helped write those stupid laws.
They made them difficult to enforce on purpose.
Bush League Republicans want to help the Democrats get a permanent majority through amnesty. It’s the only solution they will consider.
For 2020, the ones up are, Flimsey Grahamnesty, Tillis, Gardner, McSally, Daines, Collins, Cornyn, Capito, Enzi, Rounds, Sasse, Hyde-Smith, McConnell.
They all should have primary challengers.
It does US no good to have a bunch of people wearing R jerseys that still want to pass amnesty and give away our country.

And they turn them over to the Border Patrol, who gives them medical exams, updates their shots, and then releases them to Catholic social services and distributes them around the country with a solemn promise that they will return for a court date in two years.

Asylum seekers want to get caught. Should have marched them back across the border.

Democrats who wont lift a finger to increase border security against illegals will surely be quick to raise hell about doing something to stop vigilante groups. Hypocrisy and twistid priorities on display.

Donks? The Republicans are the problem here. Bush kicked it into high gear for the cheap labor express US Chamber of Commerce, and then Repubs held the house, senate and white house for two years with a safe majority on the supremes. They had all that power and did nothing.
That tells me all I need to know. The problem will never end until we understand that the Republican party is the true problem here.

Seems like throughout our Countries history, citizen militias have proven more prepared to set and and protect than our federal government!
