First, you have the name wrong. Second, one does not need permission from the party to run for president. Each state has requirements needed to get on the primary ballot and if you meet that requirement, you are on the ballot.

Think about what you just wrote. God help us if we need party permission for people to run in the primaries. Do you think Trump would have been approved by the party.

At this point, you want multiple people now to join to dilute the anti-Trump vote.

Um, you do need the permission of the party to run under their name or be in their membership. If they actually expected Trump to win the primaries, they surely would NOT have allowed him in. They just saw him as an opportunity for free advertising / more eyes watching the Repub debates.

God help us if we need party permission for people to run in the primaries.

And why would that be? Most states' parties generally run closed primaries, only allowing their members to vote (as it should be!). Why would you have an open primary where anyone can run for your nomination? Sure, anyone can run in the election, but the point of the primaries is for each party to select their nominee. NOT for whomever to jump in! If you want to run under the Dem or Repub or Green or Libertarian or whatever party, you sure as hell should be accepted by that party as a member! Otherwise, you would be properly labelled as an independent.

I did.

Who's asking for permission? McDaniel made it clear that the RNC is behind Trump in 2020. That alone should send a message to other RINOs or Never-Trumpers who are thinking of running.

Do you think Trump would have been approved by the party.

2020 is different than 2016. Trump is the incumbent now and it would be suicide for the RNC to have other players against him.

At this point, you want multiple people now to join to dilute the anti-Trump vote.

No, I want the RNC to send a message to those who think about challenging a President who enjoys 90% support of registered Republicans. Having multiple people run against him will only slow his agenda even more than what the Mueller fake Russia investigation has.

Although Republican RINOs are free to run against Trump, the RNC has a duty to enforce party discipline and realize that if Trump is somehow primaried, the base will stay home and that will be the end of the GOP, and possibly the U.S.A.
