Wow, you can say that again. Howlin kept this place rockin' for many years. When she left (or was she banned?) in 2007, FR was never the same again. She was amazing... and I don't believe she ever slept! She was always on FR it seemed, regardless of the time of day.
Thank you for all of the links above, EveningStar. I am so very sorry to learn of Howlin's passing. I don't know how I missed this thread from several months ago.
May God comfort her husband, family and friends. Rest in Peace, Howlin.

I just now ran across this thread and your post is exactly how I remember Howlin. The things she would say to people were mean and hateful. May her soul rest in peace.
