Is it huge news that Trump once lost money and took tax writeoffs?
Fox News ^ | May 09 2019 | Howard Kurtz

The dense and lengthy New York Times report says a great many things about Donald Trump's finances, but it does not say one potentially damaging thing: that he broke the law.

Instead, it is a portrait of a high-flying developer who lost a whole lot of money at times — mostly other people's money — while at times also making money.

It is a portrait of a businessman who often avoided paying taxes — legally — just like most entrepreneurs in the loophole-ridden real estate business.

And while anchors and pundits keep pronouncing Trump "the biggest loser," he's still got a plane, Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago and, oh right, the presidency.

Hehehe!

First, he hired the right accountant to write off losses, and then use them to balance the ledger. Second, he denied the government taxes in a 100-percent legal and ethical way, via tax structure that the House and Senate members have written for almost 100 years. Third, he kept people working and employed, while this under-water period was continuing (something that people would have failed miserably doing). Fourth, he didn’t give up on his plan ‘A’, which most people would have. Fifth, as far as I can see...he kept paying property taxes (something that NY City should appreciate). Finally, if anyone wants to consider him a ‘loser’...fine, then we need to bring more ‘losers’ into DC, and release Senators and Congressmen to go back home (hint: there is a relief team out there ready to go).

The only real takeaway is that Trump is a very astute businessman. We knew that already when we elected him.

This is exactly the same BS they were yapping about in 2016. It didn’t work then, it won’t work now. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, and expecting a different result.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.

I’ve made and lost significant sums over my lifetime. First of all you have to have the capital, yours or borrowed, to lose it. Second after my first disaster my advisor said you lost because the market changed. Right just lice Atlantic City where DJT got crushed: the market changed. The important thing is neither he nor I gave up and groused about it. That is what I admire not those sniveling cowards nipping at his heels.

It says volumes that he made money, lost money and did not give up and eventually made more money.
That tells me Trump sees things through no matter the outcome.

It’s not huge news.....it’s not even news!

Anyone who has read his books or biographies know he has been very open about this and everything....
..his life is an open book!

And I need to stop watching his evening rally.....even though I love and laugh at each one.....( he’s a very funny guy)

His abounding energy just wears me out!

If you watched Inside Edition back in the 90s, or stood in line at a grocery check-out, you would have known this stuff.

I wish they’d get to the issues. There are some with which some of us would actually disagree with the President’s policies.

Mc News

Just because they call it food, and you can eat it, doesn't mean it is or you should.

This is why President Trump doesn't give them the time of day. No matter whut, it's gonna be a 24/7 spew of garbage.

President Trump needs to tweet about Nancy Pelosi’s husband and all of the other Shady deals that all of the Democrats have done and in the Tweet needs to say prove me wrong.

During the hearings yesterday, one of the clowns used Trumps losses as evidence that because of his losses he must have made a deal with Russia which made him beholding to them, thus the collusion.

The national democrat/stooge media coordinator screwed up here. The low info voter they’re appealing to can’t process two mega scandals at a time. Most are too concerned about the constitutional crisis where Nadler is saving the world from Barr’s Mueller Dossier release missteps or vice versa.
