Democrat presidential hopeful Kamala Harris says she will use executive action to criminalize selling more than five guns a year without a background check.
This follows a consistent Democrat-led push to criminalize all private gun sales via universal background checks. On February 27, Breitbart News reported that the Democrat-run House passed legislation to require a background check for every gun sale, thus criminalizing someone who sells a gun to a decades-long neighbor without government approval. It also criminalizes a friend who sells a gun to a lifelong friend without asking for government approval.
During a May 12 appearance on CNN’s State of the Union, Harris explained the scope of her executive action plans, saying, “For anyone who sells more than five guns a year, they will be required to perform background checks on the people they sell them to.”
Tapper asked if executive action can really be used to implement such a substantial requirement on private gun sales and Harris responded, “Yes it can.”
Harris’ push to criminalize private gun sales of more than five guns annually followed her talking about the shooting at Colorado’s STEM School Highlands Ranch.

Registration is needed for confiscation.
They don’t know where all the guns are.

Hillary all but said that she would have done EXACTLY the same, and could have from Day 1, given that she would have had Gorsuch’s seat for her picking...not to mention quickly filling up the lower courts for generations.
What really sucks is that our top ‘Constitutional Scholars’, Ted Cruz and Mark Levin, TOOK MONTHS to figure that out and nearly cost Trump the election.
We had one Constitutional Crisis with the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
That was plenty for me.

If she is attempting to target criminals who deal in gun running, this won't help.
If she is attempting to target law-abiding citizens who happen to sell lots of firearms, this will only hurt.
Criminals tend to avoid legal activities, which is why they are criminal.
On another note, this is in essence, a post-exfacto law.

Dealers must comply with many state and federal laws that private citizens do not.

I only buy guns from private sellers.
Check the local farmer’s bulletins, newspaper ads (where some leftist editor hasn’t banned such ads), etc.
I’m an honest citizen, pay my taxes, and served in the military for 22 years.
I do not need the government in any form to know what I legally but or sell beyond any tax I might have to pay.
