“It is clear that the highly exaggerated claims of the [U.N.] are not so much out of concern for endangered species as they are a front for a radical political, social, and economic ‘transformation’ of our entire civilization,” Moore will tell lawmakers Wednesday, according to written testimony The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained.

Most “climate activists” would be working 12 hours a day 6 days a week, doing back-breaking labour, in the forests, fields and mines; if it weren’t for the advances in labour-saving technology made possible by fossil fuels. I could live with that — but, unfortunately, so would the rest of us. That was the lot in life for about 95% of the (male) population, up until the late 19th century. Women did different work — but, their lot in life wasn’t any better.
