FOREIGN MEDDLING: DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION GOING AFTER ELITE COLLEGES FOR ALLEGEDLY TAKING AND HIDING

The Department of Education has launched an investigation into foreign cash secretly flowing into U.S. universities and sent letters to Georgetown University and Texas A&M Thursday.

A Senate report found that 70 percent of colleges that took money from a Chinese propaganda program broke the law by not disclosing it.

Almost all of the colleges contracted to shape U.S. textbooks on the Middle East received massive funding from countries in the region.

The Department of Education is going after U.S universities over supposed ties to foreign governments, after some allegedly took huge quantities of foreign cash and hid it from regulators.

At the top of the list are Georgetown University and Texas A&M, which have taken hundreds of millions of dollars from the government of Qatar, a middle eastern nation with suspected links to international terrorism.

Both schools received letters from the Department of Education Thursday saying they should have disclosed that funding but their filings “may not fully capture” the activity, the Associated Press reported. The letter warned that they could be referred to the attorney general to “compel compliance.”

Georgetown was also asked about possible ties to Russian cybersecurity firm Kaspersky Lab, as well as Saudi Arabian money. Both schools were ordered to disclose funding from Huawei and ZTE, Chinese firms suspected of spying.

First USC was an elite college and now A&M is an elite college. Is there any college that is not an elite college to these writers?

Take a look at the Engineering faculty at Texas A&M. In Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences, many (if not most) are from China and India.

It’s been pretty obvious the muzzies and the communists has been influencing the teaching.

Sickening that the “elite” schools were complicit.

The downside of capitalism is that without morality everything is for sale.

Amazing! Not amazing that it’s been going on, but amazing for it to see the light of day.

These people are nothing but greedy, c*cksukcers. No different than any of the Wall St types they rail against. Only thing is, for them, they do it through corruption and deception rather than going out there and earning it. It’s no wonder why the government and education systems are filled with these types, it’s how they get rich.

If I’m not mistaken the CIA has a recruiting office at Texas A&M. If true, wonder how that all plays out since the Chinese and islam have such a foothold on college campuses.

Our country has been sold out. And that happened a long time ago. Maybe it was Carter, Bush #1, Clinton, Bush #2, and we know that the person that came after Bush #2 damned sure sold us out, at every turn.

It shouldn’t take much convincing that our elected officials, government bureaucratic monster, the judiciary, education system, and corporate America sold us out a long time ago. Of course, there is absolutely no way that any of the maniacs that we see can be convinced otherwise. The ones that get triggered at the sight of MAGA hat, ANTIFA, BLM, etc. They are beyond help. But, those that are the, Left of Center - Left Leaning Independents - Left Leaning Libertarians, they have to see what is going on and realize that President Trump is doing everything he can to stop this. If we, and they, can’t see that, then we get the country we deserve.

The President, although he will be blocked by the 9th Circuit, should immediately stop ALL federal funding to ALL of these schools and have the IRS and Treasury Dept descend on them like a pack of f*cking wolves.

Hell, look at what CAIR just did at the Army War College. That General should be stripped of his rank and tossed out on the street.

I think there’s a big difference between greed and the “downside” of capitalism(which I don’t think there is one).

The college’s and their leadership knew exactly what they were doing and for years were allowed to get away with it. That’s nothing but greed and contempt for us.

As for the ‘downside of capitalism’, I think that term has also been corrupted by Wall St, Hedge Funds and Corporate American Lobbyists. They are the ones that can leverage our government to change the rules so only they can win, they can rig the game in their favor, they can move the goal posts to squeeze out or litigate out, the little guy. They are the ones that can buy controlling shares of a company, promise the board and major shareholders all sorts of returns while they get rid of everyone else. That isn’t Capitalism or the Ugly Side of It. That’s just plain old greed and not caring about how they make their money, which leads back to my previous statement.

Colleges need money to pay for their workers perks. Big time colleges are officially places you DON’T necessarily want your children to go. They need to be stripped of their accredidation for 4 years...and fed funds used only for specific functions and be fined the amount they took..also check if the univ. has been threatened or harassed by CAIR, or other terrorists or sympathizers.
