China and Russia declare “solidarity” with Iran after Gulf tanker attacks

China and Russia declare “solidarity” with Iran after Gulf tanker attacks

“Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed solidarity with Iran…even as the U.S. Navy revealed evidence the Iranians were behind the terrorist attack on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman.”

The two oil tankers were Japanese and Norwegian. The U.S. military released a video it says “shows Iran’s Revolutionary Guard taking an unexploded mine from the hull of one of two oil tankers attacked in the Gulf of Oman.” Tehran’s usual response was denial, and it also accused the U.S. of “waging an “Iranophobic campaign.”

Now China and Russia have come out to express solidarity with Iran. But while Iran enthusiastically views that support as rebellion against its infidel enemy America and an opportunity to encourage further “resistance” against “the Great Satan” America, there is more worth noting that underlies the appearance of China-Russia support for Iran.

Briefly: China has a gripe with America because of its current trade war with Trump, who has raised tariffs on Chinese imports up to 25% and is ready to slap more tariffs on China after the upcoming G-20 Summit. Trump’s issues with China have everything to do with the latter’s ongoing dirty business in violation of its World Trade Organization membership. The U.S. “is seeking sweeping changes, including an end to forced technology transfers and theft of U.S. trade secrets. It also wants curbs on subsidies for Chinese state-owned enterprises and better access for U.S. firms in Chinese markets.” Given the pressure mounting on China from its trade war with the U.S., it’s little wonder that China will pledge support for Iran. China also has close energy and business ties with Iran and Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have threatened to close the Strait of Hormuz — “the strategic waterway, through which a significant part of the world’s oil supply flows.”

Iran has also been heavily courting Russia, even sucking up to Russia. While on a recent visit to Moscow, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that “Iran and Russia have never been this close in the past few decades,” and that “Iran differentiated between the JCPOA signatories and would never forget Russia’s support.”

While Iran continues its primary jihadi resistance against “Great Satan” America (and “Little Satan” Israel), China and Russia (two infidel countries) have separate ambitions, which are obviously not intended to serve Iran, but their own interests.

Russia has so far displayed no enthusiasm to partner with Iran on its terms. Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov only said with reference to America concerning the oil tanker attack: “I would take the opportunity to warn against hasty conclusions, against attempts to lay the blame at the door of those we don’t like.” In fact, the American sanctions against Iran has helped increase Russia’s market-share of oil. Saudi Arabia also plans to invest billions in Russian petroleum and other projects.

In America’s strategic favor also is that China, too, has been courting Saudi Arabia. The two countries recently met to boost bilateral ties in developing energy and infrastructure. Back in February, Saudi Arabia signed a $28 billion economic deal with China, forcing the latter into an ally juggling act, given that Saudi Arabia and Iran are mortal enemies; Saudi Arabia and America have also forged closer ties under the Trump administration.

Iran’s noisy celebration of Russia-China support and its attempts to bring the two countries under a unified “resistance” against America is highly questionable.

“China and Russia Stand up for Iran After Gulf Tanker Attacks,” by John Hayward, Breitbart, June 14, 2019:

Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed solidarity with Iran on Friday, even as the U.S. Navy revealed evidence the Iranians were behind the terrorist attack on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman.

“The pressures that the US government imposes on Iran and China and other countries are aimed at dominating the whole of Asia and the world,” Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said after meeting with Xi on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Kyrgyzstan.

Rouhani called for China to cooperate with Iran on resistance against “American unilateralism” and portrayed Iran as heroically resisting the pressure from U.S. sanctions.

“The Iranian people have shown that they are not shaken by the foreign pressures, but become more united and more resistant,” Rouhani said.

China’s state-run Xinhua news service summarized Xi’s response:

China has always viewed its relations with Iran from a strategic and long-term perspective, said Xi, adding that despite changes in regional and international situations, the Chinese side is willing to join hands with the Iranian side in fostering a continuous and steady development of the China-Iran comprehensive strategic partnership.

The Chinese president called on the two sides to strengthen strategic communication and support each other on issues concerning their respective core interests, adding that the two countries also need to step up coordination and conduct practical cooperation properly.

He also urged the two sides to enhance cooperation in such areas as anti-terrorism and combating cross-border crimes, and jointly clamp down the “three forces” of terrorism, separatism, and extremism, including East Turkistan Islamic Movement.

China supports maintaining the Iran nuclear deal, said Xi, and is willing to step up coordination with Iran within such multilateral frameworks as the United Nations and the SCO to jointly safeguard basic norms of international relations and multilateralism and preserve shared interests of developing countries, including China and Iran.

Rouhani also spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Kyrgyzstan summit, urging closer cooperation to resist “external pressure and foreign sanctions.”

“The situation in the region requires stronger interaction between our nations,” Rouhani told Putin….

Just to balance things here is a measured Libertarian response with a few Laurouchite overtones

The assertion that Iran had a hand in the tankers is certainly one that needs scrutiny. Why would anyone believe the neocons in the US, who are nothing but the NWO puppets? They are as adept at taqiyya as the muhamedans.

The people of Iran are the losers, first when islam overran their land and imposed an evil cult on them. Then when the Ottoman Empire fell, and the colonialists entered the Middle East, there would have been hope for them as many became exposed to western education and the hope of a better life without the yoke of islam. But the colonialists were not interested in giving them a better life, on the contrary, they were looking for spoils at a great profit.

In 1872 British Baron Julius du Reuter was granted an exclusive 50-year mining and communications concession in Persia by that country’s Peacock Throne monarchy. By 1921 the British government had installed Shah Mohammed Reza Khan in a palace coup. With their puppet in place, du Reuter’s firm, (becoming BP) one of the British Empire’s most important tentacles, busied itself exploiting the rich oil reserves in what is now known as Iran.

With their puppet in place, du Reuter’s firm, one of the British Empire’s most important tentacles, busied itself exploiting the rich oil reserves in what is now known as Iran. Prior to WWII du Reuter’s BP dominated the Persian oil patch. Following the war Britain dumped its puppet Shah in favor of his yet more pliable son Shah Reza Pahlevi, whose Nazi sympathies were less overt. The big US oil firms entered, cutting deals with the Shah. By 1943 the US had established a military command in Iran and signed the Tehran Agreement, cutting the US half of the Four Horsemen a generous slice of the Iranian oil pie. [2]

Iran was coveted for its expansive reserves of crude and remains the most geopolitically strategic Middle Eastern nation, bordering both the unprecedented Persian Gulf oilfields to the south and the vast, largely untapped Caspian Sea crude reserves to the north. American firms flooded Iran, selling miltary hardware, technology, even wheat. The Shah was easily corrupted by all this riches and pretty much gave carte blanche to American and Western globalists. The SAVAK (secret police) was trained by the CIA, MI6 and Mossad in all kinds of repressive techniques. And saddest of all was the overthrow of Mossadegh, the popular PM, who, because he nationalised the oil industry, was enemy no 1 in the eyes of the Big oil men.

See https://foreignpolicy.com/2017/06/20/64-years-later-cia-finally-releases-details-of-iranian-coup-iran-tehran-oil/ ( 64 Years Later, CIA Finally Releases Details of Iranian Coup).

This is what gave the ayatollahs the opportunity to fill in the vacuum and promise the Iranians the better life with them in power. In the end, the best-laid US military schemes failed and Ayatollah Khomeini and his mullahs filled the power vacuum before the CIA could. But to the CIA’s mind it could have been much worse. The Company far preferred the Islamic fundamentalists to the Arab nationalists represented by the Tudeh, Fedayeen and Mujahadeen Parties in Iran. Within a few years of the Iranian Revolution, the CIA was helping Ayatollah Khomeini identify nationalist leaders so he could target leftists who had formed the Committee of 60, which led the Iranian revolution. In 1983 the CIA and British MI6 supplied a long list of Tudeh Party members to Khomeini. The Ayatollah unleashed a reign of terror against the left; assassinating, torturing and imprisoning over 10,000 Tudeh members and supporters. In 1989 many of those imprisoned were sentenced to death.

The Israelis courted the mullahs as well. Throughout the 1980’s Israeli pilots trained their Iranian counterparts on F-4 Phantom fighter planes at secret bases in Germany. Mossad continued to fund and arm Barzani’s PUK Kurd faction in their covert war against Iraq. As recently as 2002 German Customs officials seized an Israeli shipment of weapons bound for Iran.

There are so many crocodile tears being shed for the Iranian people, but an unwillingness to look at what their shadowy governments were doing and are still doing. Nothing happens in a vacuum. Betraying the Iranian people by first inflicting the Shah on them, which created the atmosphere right for the ayatollahs to step in. Iranians under Mossadegh could have charted a different destiny. https://consortiumnews.com/2013/02/24/waking-up-to-irans-real-history-2/

William O Douglas, US Supreme court judge (1898-1980), was a great admirer and supporter- of Mossadegh – ‘ …a great Persian hero…who should be respected and supported. See http://www.mohammadmossadegh.com/news/william-o-douglas/

But what do the globalists/NWO in control of the US and the West care about such people? They only want a compliant dictator, no matter how vile, or how islamist, as long he does their bidding. Why, they will happily deal with the ayatollahs if they make deals with them. Under Mossadegh, who was no islamist in any sense of the word, the Iranians might have charted a different destiny.

You can see how accomodating they are to the Saudis, they are compliant and do not rock the NWO agenda. Never mind all the jihadi attacks that could be sourced to sunni islam. This is in NO WAY trying to exonerate the ayatollahs, it is the people of Iran who are the ones who suffer always.

Our enemies are both the islamists and the NWO. For those of us who are Christians, it is easy to see that the devil has many weapons against Christianity. The ones who worship allah, the god who needs human sacrifice, and other godless ones who worship money and power. The gobalist NWO are extremely smart, and they are able to manipulate all the disparate forces that are in opposition to the kingdom of Christ.

And now we see more ‘fruits’ of the dumbest foreign and trade policy decisions is US history, all those that have enriched and empowered Red China to became the increasing menace and danger they are becoming around the world. We should never have imported a pack of firecrackers from China until they abandoned their communist ways.

This is what happens when you allow commercial interests to make decisions that affect national security and the domestic economy.

And Putin continues to lead Russia back into the past.

And in the western hemisphere Venezuela has a ton of oil. Maduro buddying up with Russia and China. Maduro starving the population. Whatever wealth comes Venezuela’s way pocketed by Maduro military and partisans.

Expect a NY Times article from a State or DOD leak any day now.

China and Russia may have enough nukes to destroy us, but in doing so, the whole world will glow.

If the shooting starts and stays conventional, both China and Russia will lose biggly.

I’d wager that Iran had secured this assurance before the attack.

Why?

What is the end game?

So you have total control of everyone’s life.

Then what?

>>We should never have imported a pack of firecrackers from China until they abandoned their communist ways.<<

I agree 110%. In our lifetime, we witnessed the greatest transfer of wealth in world history from the American middle class to communist China.

Our so called best and brightest in D.C. from both sides of the aisle, both houses of congress and past presidents that sold out America for the almighty $$buck$$. They should be ashamed they placed communist over the interest of the American citizen.

Now ol Donald Trump comes tootling along and the hood rats of Warshington D.C. have a freaking meltdown because he’z exposed their corruption. God bless DJT.

China and Russia, two oriental despotisms, have never and will never join the community of nations. As for Iran, just keep squeezing. Unemployment is rising. Narcotics use is spiraling. Sunni and Shia Islam are at war. The education system is falling apart. Ethnic minorities in Iran are restless. SNAFU!

I don’t want another war, but Iran is a big problem. How many times does a nasty kid on the playground have to tell you he will hurt you before you retaliate? Iran is a nasty regime of twelvers.... if they could park a nuke in the Potomac they would.

I have said since the second Gulf War that we should force regime change. Iran is probably responsible for more of our casualties in Iraq than the Iraqi’s are and while I would not have our troops on the ground there, they were.

I don’t want another war in the middle east or anywhere else for that matter and I don’t want to spill blood to protect everyone else, but Iran is a real threat to us and their threats should have been answered long ago by many Presidents in front of this one.

I would have destroyed their military capability after they took our sailors and told them up front that if one hair was harmed we would invade and annihilate them.

I would pull out my uniforms and put them back on to do it.... Just my .02

The two oil tankers were Japanese and Norwegian.

Neither Norway or Japan has accused Iran yet, the Japanese crew said they saw things flying through the air. If the countries whose tankers were hit haven't accused Iran, where do we get off inserting ourselves into it at this point?
