“Loophole in law granting illegal immigrants driver’s licenses could lead to voter fraud”

“could”? It’s designed for that!

But it is also the sole document required to register to vote, according to officials.

The money line - INTENTIONAL VOTER FRAUD - just as everyone knows.

Voter fraud is a problem.
But the Democraps’ heinous vote harvesting (mfg votes) is particularly troublesome b/c it happens mostly in secret
AFTER the electon is over......and is used to flip seats already won by Republicans.

Pres Trump talking about a “rigged” election and warning about what he says will be voter fraud, there have been significant discussions about “poll watchers,” and concerns that certain individuals may try to intimidate their fellow voters. But there are rules governing polling places and poll watchers.

As it turns out, the US Constitution gives states the power to regulate the “time, place, and manner” of elections — which means, in practical terms, that most of the rules governing voting and polling places are made at the state level — and can therefore vary widely from one jurisdiction to the next.

Indeed, questions like whether you need a photo ID to vote, whether it’s legal to take a “ballot selfie,” or whether you can wear campaign paraphernalia into the voting booth don’t currently have national answers, but instead depend upon each state’s widely varying rules.

So if vote harvesters operate in places like nursing homes, hospitals, private homes, jails, and other secluded places, They operate without oversoght.

Means they could be in violation of US Constitution and the power to regulate the “time, place, and manner” of elections.

Discrimnation against Republican voters also looms .....when the harvesters flip Republican seats only.

What? What are you saying? This just can’t be? I don’t believe it!

Buh, bye America.

"They can add all the illegal voters they want in New York and California. Won’t change a thing in electoral votes."

The number of electoral votes for a state is based on population.

Population also impacts the number of representatives a state has in the house.

Thanks, Liz.

Dear FR elections expert, wherever you are...

Just yesterday, we ran into a voting issue here in Georgia.

My wife changed her legal name two years ago and has voted a couple times using that new name.

But now we get a letter in the mail from Georgia addressed to her old name. And the purpose of the letter was to strongly encourage her old name to vote. And the letter said, they are going to follow-up in a few months.

My question is: how can she respond in a way that guarantees this no-longer-valid name isn’t used by someone tampering with ballots?

Should we simply return the mail saying the name no longer is valid, or is there other action I can take to better ensure the name is not abused in the future?

Thanks.

I remember when I was young we would hear about the elections in the Soviet Union. The Premier of the Soviet Union would always win with 99.9% of the vote. That’s exactly where we are headed with these democrats who hate the US.

No birth certificate is required. If one cannot read and speak English then you should not be allowed to vote. The ability to do so is a requirement for citizenship, so the screening at the polling place would be very quick and very accurate. No ticklie—no laundry.

Given that NY and other states require proper ID to get a driver’s license (usually several separate ID’s like a SS card and passport assigned points etc.) how can illegals even qualify based on the points system? This is another direct assault on Americans in favor of illegals.

So, here are two simple questions that should help support an elementary logic test for anyone interested in evaluating the efforts Trump is undertaking to actually re-capture the USA:

1. Do you believe the deep state can be defeated via purely legal means? and
2. Do you believe large scale deportations and expulsions of illegal aliens can be achieved without civil unrest?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that a majority of FR participants would conclude a definite negative to both. Now, since we achieved that step, let's go ahead and determine whether Trump has come to the same conclusion. Pretty obvious, right?

OK, so here's my question, the elephant that (isn't) in the room, the dog that didn't bark: where are the preparations to deal with such eventualities? Where are the communications from Trump et al similar to the speeches and announcements made by FDR & Churchill - to their respective audiences - during WWII? Oh, our current situation doesn't represent a similar existential threat? OK

If you step back and look around, it's pretty glaringly obvious that no preparations are being made, whether it's a call to the militia, suggestions as to a hard fight ahead that might require stocking & supplies, the need for discipline and dedication to a difficult cause, etc.

Nope, all we get are personalized drama intentionally designed and manipulated to elicit electoral support for Trump. But, what's the point of supporting Trump if it's only about satisfying his own ego? Sure, we put off the future for another 4 years, but what then? There is still a looming showdown where accounts are finally going to be tallied and called in; why isn't there a call to the nation to begin such preparations?

Yep - I didn’t even need to see this, it was obvious this was the real intent.

No surprise at all.

Representation is supposed to be based on CITIZEN population. Having a DL doesn’t change that. A citizenship question on the census does.

But I get its just another way around voting laws. And as one poster stated, its a magnet for illegals getting social/welfare programs.

And the effort to replace US voters with foreigners is not new. What’s new is that Dems are not even trying to hide it.

That’s NOT a loophole, it’s intentional.

Yes and they don't care who they kill on our highways or homes to get that illegal vote either.

I want them to try and tell me that Democrats are the ones that care.

Its about the electorial college.

They want the popular vote to be as lopsided as possible.

This will help them do away with the EC and when its gone they will never lose another election.

They may also pick up a few extra congressional seats like they did in CA.
