A year ago, according to James S. Robbins, a Pentagon official during George W. Bush’s administration and author of the book “Erasing America,” quoted POTUS Donald Trump opining that the American Left would never be satisfied with simply pulling down Confederate monuments.
No, the president said in 2017, Leftists would eventually adopt overt efforts to actually memory hole our founders, our traditions and our culture.
“Is it George Washington next week” he said, “and is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You know, you really do have to ask yourself, where does it stop?”
Noted Robbins: “Liberal historians tut-tutted at the president for even suggesting such an absurdity.”
Well, it turns out that our president, once again, was exactly right.

Liberals try to portray themselves as moral giants, while denigrating our founders. The reality is that the founding fathers upheld righteous principles, liberals do not.
Part of me wants to be outraged, but literally who gives a damn about “city holidays”? I couldn’t even begin to tell you what “city holidays” are celebrated where I live. How many people will notice anything or care? This is just pathetic, hollow grandstanding from their city council.
So I ran the idea by her and she responded “if the correct response is to ban everything that touched slavery, then we would need to move to an undiscovered island.”
