We noted last week that Twitter locked John Lott's account because of it deemed a tweet to be in violation of the company's rules. In Lott's appeal, he noted that Twitter had not offered an explanation for its action. As can be seen from the screenshot of its email, Twitter has continued to provide no explanation.

And this action is NOT considered as campaigning for the anti gun democrats.......how??
Just another conservative who is de-platformed.
This is not new to the big tech world. They are shutting down anyone who matters to truth and justice; hundreds if not thousands of USA info warriors. Like Alex Jones...
Oh wait, they say they are just an open platform and not a publisher, that they never make such editorial decisions and they get lots of legal protections from lawsuits because of that.
Hmmmm... seems that they do one thing and say the other.
Where is President Trump on this? He needs to forcefully speak out and direct DOJ and others to investigate.
LOL! Of course not. No H8 ers allowed. Believing in the constitution and BOR makes you a bigot and racist because of who wrote it way back like whenever. You know ‘that’ has already started.
Knowing the assclowns that run this crapfest, PDJT may be next to be banished for spreading hate and discontent. They are ‘entiteled’ to their opinion. We apparently don’t get to have one.
Having assumed editorial control, beyond simple decency standards, they become responsible for what IS published.
Twitter rejects appeal to unlock John Lotts account, still with no explanation.
The socialist left does not have an argument that can be discussed so they refuse to let any other point be discussed.
Must be hard to live actually knowing your point is so wrong that you cannot stand to hear another.
Easy for them. When there is no conscience, it’s a snap. “We don’t like you so you are hereby dismissed.”
Twitter should be forced to bake the cake.
So let me get this straight:
President Trump cant block critics from his Twitter account but Twitter can block critics of Twitter from using their accounts.
Do I have that right?
L
If these platforms are there to serve the public, then why can’t the cake shop refuse service to whom they want to? You can’t have it both ways.
How is it that Trump and other politicians cannot block anyone on Twitter, but Twitter can block anyone they want for any reason they decide to make up? Seems to me if the argument is being made that Twitter and other social media are the town square, those rules should also apply to the platform provider. No censorship, unless the material being censored violates the law, e.g. death threats, etc.
Very different. Cakes are art. The websites are service providers.
