This is what I know as fact. Donald Trump has built some of the most extraordinary structures on the planet. He’s found ways to accomplish things no other man could do. But somehow, on his watch, I’m watching American culture disappear faster than I ever would have imagined.
I’m sure many here will want to rip me a new one after reading that. One thing I would ask you to include in your post. Can anyone post any information regarding the actual effect that Mexico supposedly getting involved in illegal crossings into the United States has helped the numbers coming into the country? I don’t understand why, if what Trump threatened them with a few weeks ago has played out, we don’t hear about how illegal crossings have all but stopped.

Levin was opining tonight that Kavanaugh is going to disappoint as much as Roberts in the long run. It seems “Trump judges” will turn out about as loyal as “Trump’s Generals.”

There is no reason why the correct citizen numbers can’t be used even if not from census.

We're already trying to get rid of as many wetbacks we can... I don't believe any such information can affect congressional representative numbers, and CA is going to gain a jillion reps, mostly Democrat.
Using it as an education tool is redundant - those of us who care are already on his side, those who want open borders will rejoice if the result (compared to the "official" census) shows a lower number of actual citizens.

That is where this needs to go or it is just a statistics gathering exercise although I am not knocking getting better stats. The problem with the latter part of your statement involves federal / state jurisdictions but perhaps state RNC can help if they will. The State of California is not going to hand over voter lists to Trump. Somehow the feds need a list of all illegal aliens in this country ... if they don’t already have such a list.
Off the top of my head: Cross-referenced identification of anyone using a stolen or misappropriated SSN.
I heard the press conference driving home. I was thinking the democrats would be crapping all over themselves over this. Instead of a little check box on a piece of paper, Trump was going to do some data mining and find out the real truth. The Dems will wish they allowed that checkbox, anyone can lie on a paper form but the big data will root them out. Trump is going to find the illegals. He then said states could draw new lines based on this new information. Then, I come here and I read that, “my parents will never vote for Trump again; I voted, gave money to his campaign and I will never vote again; Trump sold out, blah blah blah. Where do all these spineless brain dead people come from? Was there a large die off at FR, replaced by jebbie boys?
Not bitching, but doesn’t the Constitution say the Census numbers have to be used?
If that’s the case, how is this not a loss?
I am afraid that this does little more than save face. It will have very little real effect.

It may depend on where you live and what media you consume.
Where I live, we still have America (rural SW WI). When I tune into MSM/social media, which magnifies the prog voices, I do get that sick, sinking feeling. But we, as a country, are still here, although likely not in urban areas of blue states.
Today I read that 55% of Hispanics and 59% of black Americans want border control and removal of illegals, along with 72% of whites. So, perhaps this issue is really uniting real American citizens of all origins.
While I don’t mean to be a Pollyanna on the issue, I also cannot wallow in misery and depression 24/7.
The world is divided between global feudalism and individualistic national sovereignty. Even in Europe and the UK and Oz, I see people asserting their sovereignty. Even in NZ, they are resisting the gun grab.
Exposing the Globalist would-be slavers of all types has been a boon and POTUS, along with his international allies, deserves some credit.
I have read that illegal crossings are down. But we have horrid laws and worse judges and administrative elites, all working overtime to counter POTUS, the American people and all the governments trying to bring order and sanity.

And with the better numbers the Department of Commerce gets, a case could be made that the real census is invalid. That should throw the congressional apportionment in disarray. The Dems will rue the day they stopped the citizenship question.
That is what they are! I'm sick of the PC terms foisted on us, calling things what they are not. To me, they are documented aholes. I don't break the laws, they do.
If (or when, more likely) it is proved by the numbers Trump’s EO comes up with are more accurate than the census, then this will force census to use the accurate numbers, or re-do census.
If census is proven wrong, why use it?
add to that maybe the illegals lay real low due to this come census time, depriving sanctuary states of numbers.
at a minimum, it’s a start in the right direction from where we are right now
