The city braced for deportation raids this weekend that didn’t come to pass, but legal groups and city officials fanned out across the five boroughs to assuage fears and inform immigrants of their rights.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents were planning to arrest families who recently arrived, missed their court dates, and were ordered deported. But fear has spread among many immigrants. At Saint Joan of Arc Church on Stratford Avenue in the Bronx, around 60 people filed into the basement for know-your-rights workshops. Alejandra, who didn’t want to provide her last name, said she came to the U.S. 12 years ago from Mexico and doesn’t have legal status. She said she feels afraid.
“We stay at home,” she said in Spanish. “We can’t go out.”
She said she rarely leaves her house now, because she worries what would happen to her two U.S. citizen daughters if she got deported. Hilario Galicia Montes, a volunteer at the church, said he wasn’t afraid, after spending 21 years in the country and regularly paying taxes. But he said many of his friends are scared.
“They don’t want to go out,” he said. “They don’t want to go to work.”

If you are in the country legally, you have nothing to fear.
If are in the country illegally, you aren’t an immigrant.
What Trump needs to do is make clear that enforcement will focus on areas that are not sanctuary cities. Encourage the migrants to migrate to the sanctuary cities. As long as they stay there they won’t be bothered ..: at least for the time being. And pull ICE out of those cities. Dump the migrants in those cities but don’t disclose that’s what you’re doing.

Seriously, the Trump economy has not only produced better paying blue collar jobs in America but south of the border as well.
The company for whom I work for has openings in all three plants in Mexico-- Tijuana, Ciudad Juarez and Monterrey. There are even sign-on bonuses for the right skillsets.
Nothing is being done on immigration legal or illegal except to let more Indians in to further colonize us. The DACA parasites were supposed to go back but NOPE, didn’t happen. Jared Kushner is coming up with an immigration package to ensure that we never have another Republican president (like that’s done us any good) and white people never have a voice in anything.
So it was a triple instead of a home run. Oh well.
Trump wins again. He made democrats come out, openly disobeying the laws of the USA, and showing the world how much they hate this country.

Target employers.
Cut off benefits.
Make it so difficult to be an illegal alien that they go home.
If you see people speaking Spanish, ask if they have a green card, if they say no, tell them ICE is looking for them.
Assuming there is a larger strategy here, putting the frighteners on the illegals may redound to Trump’s benefit in keeping them from voting even with the Dems attempting to stampede them to the polls.
A lot of them will probably decide to head home rather than continually going on and off of Red Alert.
This Trump is a friggin’ genius.
America will never return millions of illegals since the communists Democrats still have huge power to keep the illegal voters. Democrats have nearly destroyed America and may never find a solid law and order Country again. This is like foreign Countries have been destroyed. They know that President Trump will get the second term but the communists will return four years after.
They are also Mexican citizens, so, no problem.
Mexico extends citizenship to the children of Mexican nationals born anywhere in the world.
