A man was savagely beaten on Martin Luther King Drive in Jersey City following a minor traffic crash on Sunday, July 14, 2019.
Video of a vicious attack in Jersey City is circulating social media after a man was pulled from his vehicle Sunday morning, beaten by a group of people, and left for dead in the street.
Jersey City spokeswoman Kimberly Wallace-Scalcione said authorities are working to identify at least six people involved in the gruesome altercation, which left a 42-year-old man lying bloody in the street near Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue at 2:50 a.m.
The mayhem appears to started following a minor traffic crash in the area of Martin Luther King Drive and Orient Avenue. Several videos posted to social media show the onslaught from different angles.
In one of the chilling videos, the victim is seen getting back into his Cadillac before a woman holds the driver side door open and begins to punch him. Several more people jump into the fray and try to pull the driver out of the vehicle. The man then suddenly puts the car in reverse, knocking at least two people to the ground.
At that point a man jumps onto the hood of the Cadillac and kicks the windshield in. The small mob then yanks the victim out of the vehicle, throws him to the ground, and then take turns kicking him and stomping his head.
The crowd disperses when the man’s body appears to go limp and blood is seen on the pavement. A man approaches the victim and unleashes a final kick to his head.

A conservative Black man, whose name has been co-opted by the Socialists and used on the most dangerous streets of any major US city run by Democrats. Sad.
Hope this guy survives and his ATTACKERS are punished.

I would never call MLK a conservative man, even though he spoke for a righteous cause. He was a sexual libertine and leaned Communist.

Wow. At least the victim didn’t get into trouble defending himself with a handgun. BTW, we were about 20 miles away from that area Saturday night on our way to Rhode Island. NJ State troopers were working I80 over pretty hard when we went through.
Not sure why anyone would think that any onlooker on MLK Drive would do anything other than film or participate in the beating.

—————————————————————— My brother lived a block away on JFK Boulevard and Duncan Ave, in The Hague Building. MLK was to the east, to the west they filmed several episodes of COPS. Originally a city group wanted to rename JFK Boulevard to MLK Boulevard.
