Yeah. The North thought so much of McClellan, they named a fort after him down here in Alabama, Fort McClellan. It is closed now and the city has taken over most of the old post. The Alabama National Guard has a portion of it now and is the state’s big NG base in the state, plus what is called Pelham Range, outside of town, where they can blow things up and shoot their weapons, etc.
