The maker of the gun used in the Sandy Hook, Connecticut, school shooting asked the U.S. Supreme Court Thursday to hear an appeal of a state ruling that revived a wrongful death suit against the company.

Remington Arms asked the nation’s highest court to hear an appeal of a March Connecticut Supreme Court ruling that reinstated a lawsuit against it over marketing messaging for the Bushmaster rifle that gunman Adam Lanza used in the 2012 shooting, Reuters reported.

Remington has argued it is protected by the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act (PLCAA), which prohibits civil actions against ammunition and firearm dealers, builders or trade groups when a firearm is used to commit a crime.

Yes, this needs to be settled in the right way. This is a ridiculous ruling.

settled in the right way

With gun control advocates paying a $1 trillion fine for abusing court process, the CT Supreme Court impeached and convicted for the common law perjury of violating their oaths of office and common law high treason against the CT Constitution, and victims' families forced to disclose in exacting detail all the sponsorships they've received since the shooting?

Or do you mean settled in the sense of a SCOTUS ruling, so many words of wisdom that liberals will nonetheless hear as "not yet", and "valid only until the next election".

The Liberals don't have much respect for stare decisis when it comes to rulings they don't approve of.

Slow me to don my tin foil hat and question whether sandy hook actually happened. Was the father laughing before crying about his child merely an actor?

I don’t believe it did. Some of the videos I have seen asking simple questions don’t seem to be available on Youtube anymore.

>>a March Connecticut Supreme Court ruling that reinstated a lawsuit against it over marketing messaging for the Bushmaster rifle <<

By that reasoning anyone who gets killed by someone driving over the speed limit can sue car makers for their commercials.

Yes, the absurdity should be carried to the max.
Flood the courts with dumb(er) stupid(er) idiotic cases.

What brand of toothpaste, mouthwash, toilet paper did he use?
Did he wear glvoes?
What kind of mind altering pants was he wearing?
Did the little alligator on his shirt whisper in his ear?

If ‘we/they’ take a composite of the last 6 or 7 whackjobs and find out 3 of them used Irish Spring soap maybe we can tie the usage of Irish Spring etc etc etc

Stupid is as Stupid does....
