Thanks for that insight.

Trump briefly mentions polls are looking good but you would never know that watching even Fox with their all dems beat him

Hemmer is awesome and so is Sandra. Most likely one of the greatest TV combos ever was Bill Hemmer and Martha Macallum, the two had charisma that is seldom seen on air.

Good as broadcast TV ever was.

I must take you to task, JL...

why on God's green earth would you or anyone use Google. There is no F*n reason to patronize those slimes. Any number of different search engines are available and I urgently encourage all to do the same.

You may or may not get better results, but PLEASE don't patronize those evil bastards.

FYI, the ISF korn kernel results as of last Sunday:

21,000 corn kernel votes 8/11/19
52 / 48 dem/republican
trump 97 % / weld 3
biden 24
warren/buttigieg 16 each
harris 11
sanders 9

Correct, however...still no pictures of DJT's overflowing jar

Fish-your cat needs to go in for blood work/Vet assessment. Many older cats are now suffering from this and this may be the cause. Vet also need to check kidney function.
My Vet husband and his colleagues are amazed at the number of new cases per year they are seeing.
We now have 2 older cats with hyperthyroidism and are on meds that are easy to get down, using a cat “pill pocket”.
Good luck.

Bullock has been visiting Iowa since last year. He is not raising much money and may not make the 2% cut.

Bullock (usually called "Buttock") is in the last of his allowed term as Governor of Montana.

He's been "campaigning" (i.e. raising money) for President on the taxpayers' dime for most of the past two years.

He was asked to name his accomplishments as Governor and the response was 20 seconds of dead air.

Vote for him for President?

I know lifelong Democrats who wouldn't vote for him for Dogcatcher and I'm to the point that I'd donate to him if he'd promise to shut up and drag his coyote a$$ out of my sight forever.

If anybody wants him, PLEASE take him. Just keep him away from us.

Thus I don’t expect anymore dropouts until mid Sept. when the next round of ‘debates’ take place. We’ll see.

If they can't meet the criteria for being in the upcoming September debate, then they are effectively eliminated. So far, nine have met the criteria.

Supposedly, that was the idea. Whether it really happened or not I don't know. But, I think he wanted to do it at every residence he had. One story said he wanted to leave at least 20 impregnated women at each place another story said 100’s at New Mexico,so it's hard to say.

Mooch is also very bitter about the loss of this sale. He’d hoped to resurrect the deal, but it failed.

He blames POTUS and is suggesting POTUS doesn’t know what he is doing in dealing with China.

It is extremely HARD to avoid Google or Alphabet. Alphabet is the parent company of Google. However, Google will still retain control of the products we all know: search, ads, maps, YouTube, Google Play Store and Android.

Some people may still be confused as to what brands and companies are now under the control of Alphabet. Therefore, here are the ABCs of everything Alphabet Inc. currently owns:

• A - Alphabet / Android / AdSense / Analytics / Ara / AdMob / Alerts
• B - Blogger / Boston Dynamics / Books
• C - Calico / Cardboard / Capital
• D - Drive / DeepMind / Design / DoubleClick
• E - Earth / Express
• F - Fiber / Fi / Flights / FeedBurner / Firebase / Finance
• G - Google / Gmail / Glass / Groups
• H - Hangouts
• I - Images / Ingress / Inbox / Invite Media
• J - Jump
• K - Keep
• L - Life Sciences / Local / Loon
• M - Maps / My Business / Makani
• N - Nest / News / Nexus / Now
• O - Offers
• P - Plus / Play / Photos / Picasa / Pixate / Patents
• Q - (Nexus) Q
• R - Refine / reCaptcha
• S - Search / Shopping / SageTV /Stackdriver / Skybox / Skia / Scholar
• T - Translate / Tango
• U - N/A
• V - Voice / Ventures / VirusTotal / Video
• W - Wallet / Wing
• X - X Labs
• Y - YouTube
• Z - Project Z / Zagat

yeah the mooch is in big financial trouble harder to sell blue sky these days..

Joe Manchin is a walking talking BS machine. He has nothing like most dems so he resorts to gun control or "make America safe again" implying that its all Trumps fault the shootings that have occurred. Manchin blaming Trump for everything repeating the phrase "make america safe again" what a putz. He's a hardcore dem that needs to be primarried next time he runs. What a BS artist.

Over the years, a lot of people have tried to get even with Trump or mess him up.

I don't these ever go very well for the participants.

Wapost is as far left as they can get.Its hate trump 24/7 for them.

Agree completely about the Amazon Post. The biggest news this week comes from the leaking of the townhall meeting at the NYT. It shows the bias and lack of journalism of Pravda on the Hudson. It is outrageous and infuriating. One exchange really got my blood boiling.

Staffer: Hello, I have another question about racism. I’m wondering to what extent you think that the fact of racism and white supremacy being sort of the foundation of this country should play into our reporting. Just because it feels to me like it should be a starting point, you know? Like these conversations about what is racist, what isn’t racist. I just feel like racism is in everything. It should be considered in our science reporting, in our culture reporting, in our national reporting. And so, to me, it’s less about the individual instances of racism, and sort of how we’re thinking about racism and white supremacy as the foundation of all of the systems in the country. And I think particularly as we are launching a 1619 Project, I feel like that’s going to open us up to even more criticism from people who are like, “OK, well you’re saying this, and you’re producing this big project about this. But are you guys actually considering this in your daily reporting?”

Baquet: You know, it’s interesting, the argument you just made, to go back to the use of the word racist. I didn’t agree with all of this from Keith Woods, who I know from New Orleans and who’s the ombudsman for NPR. He wrote a piece about why he wouldn’t have used the word racist, and his argument, which is pretty provocative, boils down to this: Pretty much everything is racist. His view is that a huge percentage of American conversation is racist, so why isolate this one comment from Donald Trump? His argument is that he could cite things that people say in their everyday lives that we don’t characterize that way, which is always interesting. You know, I don’t know how to answer that, other than I do think that that race has always played a huge part in the American story.

And I do think that race and understanding of race should be a part of how we cover the American story. Sometimes news organizations sort of forget that in the moment. But of course it should be. I mean, one reason we all signed off on the 1619 Project and made it so ambitious and expansive was to teach our readers to think a little bit more like that. Race in the next year—and I think this is, to be frank, what I would hope you come away from this discussion with—race in the next year is going to be a huge part of the American story. And I mean, race in terms of not only African Americans and their relationship with Donald Trump, but Latinos and immigration. And I think that one of the things I would love to come out of this with is for people to feel very comfortable coming to me and saying, here’s how I would like you to consider telling that story. Because the reason you have a diverse newsroom, to be frank, is so that you can have people pull together to try to tell that story. I think that’s the closest answer I can come.

I agree. You’re absolutely right!

Also, having a keen interest in the subject matter is helpful along with a bit of knowledge. I despise interviewers who attempt to fake it.

All the more reason, AB. I’ve gotten along quite well without any of the Alphabet brands/products listed, save a rare Youtube visit. It helps.. I suppose.. that I live in a total Apple world. Maps has been most useful...I doubt Apple uses google’s maps
