LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services has denied Planned Parenthood's application to license an abortion facility in downtown Louisville.
In a letter to Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky, Cabinet Secretary Adam Meier said the downtown facility reportedly performed 23 abortions from December 2015 to January 2016, stating the facility was not licensed to perform abortions during that time.
A judge previously found Planned Parenthood had been following directions of state officials when it began operations in December 2015.
Planned Parenthood issued a news release Friday accusing the administration of refusing to comply with a court order to expedite the licensing.
"While (Gov. Matt) Bevin is once again on the wrong side of history, we will continue to fight this decision and the slew of unpopular decisions that take away reproductive health care and abortion access in the Commonwealth," Planned Parenthood of Indiana and Kentucky CEO Chris Charbonneau said. "This decision shows the true motive, which is to purposefully place undue burdens on pregnant Kentuckians. Shame on Gov. Bevin and CHFS Secretary Adam Meier."
Planned Parenthood has a month to appeal the decision.

So then, a little off topic, can Trump rescind the business license of say Google?
I used to pray the Rosary in front of this clinic on Saturdays during the early 90s. We saw lives saved. We regularly saw women exit the clinic early. Prayer and witness are powerful!
What goes on in the head of someone who thinks killing babies is on the right side of history? Do they not know how many evils related to abortion (Post-Abortion Syndrome, a connection to breast cancer) the media are covering up to keep legal abortion hanging by a thread?
I like Governor Bevin more and more. He’s in the Trump mold of not fearing to engage his enemies, their howls and the howls of their media allies be damned! I hope he considers a run for national office in 24.
