I’m generally not someone who views my political opponents as evil. After all, my best friend is a raging liberal, though he’s now a doctor who is not active in politics and has mellowed with age. But lately leftists have gotten so unhinged, gotten so nasty, that I don’t see any way I could even stand to be in the same room with them. The way they act now is like someone trying to make sure they reserve a first-class suite in Hell.
Trump Derangement Syndrome has done something to people who were always teetering on the edge of sanity. It hasn’t just pushed them over that edge, they’ve cannonballed into the deep end of insanity and are embracing it. And insanity, left unchecked and encouraged by pop culture and media, leads to evil.
When billionaire industrialist and philanthropist David Koch died Friday, these people couldn’t contain their joy. He was a libertarian activist who gave to groups fighting (unsuccessfully) to advance the cause of individual liberty, but he also gave more the charitable causes and hospitals than all of the people cheering his death will ever collectively give to charity in their lifetimes.
What had to happen in someone’s life to cheer the passing of a man they’d never met and likely (and unknowingly) benefited from the largess of? It’s easy to say these people are stupid, but stupid people don’t commit stupid acts deliberately, they simply don’t know any better. These people know better
They had these thoughts, then took it to the next step: the world must know! “David Koch was a monster and nobody should be sanctimonious about his memory,” tweeted one random writer for New York Magazine. Another progressive activist declared, “The media is calling David Koch a billionaire ‘activist.’ His greatest contribution to society was dying.”
There are literally thousands of examples of members of the party of tolerance, many in media or celebrities, celebrating Koch’s death. When they die, none will be remembered, and no one will have been better off for their having existed. Their tweets and any children unlucky enough to be parented by people like them will be their legacy, and their children will likely deny it.
Imagine the reaction from the same people when Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg dies. The outrage over the anonymous accounts tweeting mean things will be reported by every liberal news outlet. “Conservatives celebrate…” the nightly news will say. Verified accounts of well-known liberals “Wishing the Koch brothers a speedy reunion” will be ignored.
It’s not just the glee over the death of the media-created caricature of David Koch that has these people embracing evil, if someone is determined to be existing wrong in their eyes, even someone on their own team, that person will feel their wrath. No matter how temporary or inane that “slight” is.
Karamo Brown is one of the stars of the new “Queer Eye” and a member of the new cast on “Dancing with the Stars.” Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer is also on the new season of DWTS. Excited about his new job, Brown made the mistake of talking with Spicer and not hating him, calling Sean a “ The gay black man went from one of the gang to pariah in the blink of an eye.
The social media harassment from the left was crushing. One of his “Queer Eye” cast mates, Bobby Berk, defended Brown and suffered the same fate. Berk deleted his supportive tweets and Brown deleted his account. Normally harassing two gay men would be met with charges of homophobia, but the people who’d make that charge were the ones engaging in it, so…
The progressive purity police enforcing “correct-think” make the Nazi Nuremberg Laws on racial purity seem like subtle suggestions.
These are but two examples of the thousands of manifestations of the searing hatred that drives everything leftists do, and every word they speak. They will not rest until everyone not as “pure” as they are is either dead or afraid to speak. And after that rest, they’ll go after those who are afraid to speak. Progressives, as the 20th century has now, love purges.
President Ronald Reagan is reported to have said, “The person who agrees with you 80 percent of the time is a friend and an ally, not a 20 percent traitor.” To the modern left, someone who agrees with them 99.99 percent of the time is their complete enemy. Anyone more “impure” than that .01 percent is fair game for destruction at any time. If there is a better word for that than “evil,” I haven’t found it.

Serious, meaningful political discourse is finished. When they couldn’t win hearts & minds, libs just sent out their young, outspoken, tech-savvy morons to squelch further discussion.
They are the young animals in “Animal Farm” that add weight to the dictators’ policies by repeating them mindlessly.

The leadership of the Democrats do not condemn them, the press does not condemn them and so they have credibility.

Obviously they never heard of the parable of Jesus that those without sin shall cast the first stone. Following Jesus would solve all our problems but that would mean that THEY are not in control.

But the key is that the Democratic Leadership does not condemn the likes of Antifa and the militant haters.
If the Democrap Leadership starts condemning the violence and venomous hatred against moderate decent against the Leftist agenda the press would follow and civility might return to society.

The ones celebrating Koch’s death and attacking imperfect liberals are one step below the openly violent ANTIFA members.
Just like most Germans did not participate in the violence against Jews....most gave tacit support to it either openly or through silence.
This is where the Democrats are heading....open violence that will be openly supported (like the kind words said about ANTIFA by Biden) or silently.
This increases the violence and more of the unhinged will participate in the violence.
No, it wouldn’t. Rush has been pointing out for decades they can’t succeed on the field of ideas because theirs suck. He has made a fortune for himself by pointing this out which is basically his entire show. If the Rats became “civil” they wouldn’t last a month.

It is my understanding that the “turn the other cheek” statement by Jesus in Matthew 5 referred to an old Jewish custom of an insultive smack on the cheek. I liken it to the old English version of pulling off a glove and slapping ones face to insult them. There’s a big difference between a desire to insult you and a desire to kill you.
Let’s face it. We are a house divided. The only question is whether the cold civil war goes hot.
The Second Amendment is the last impediment to the final destruction of America. Don’t let it be taken from you; teach your children well. Morally upright people with guns threaten no one but criminals and tyrants. Those who are destroying our civilization must be shown that they will not succeed; that they will be utterly defeated, and that defeat must begin now. But it cannot happen without millions of totally committed people who will do what ever it takes to defend the Truth, in all venues of discourse where it is under assault. Man up and preach.
They don't hate Trump. After Trump leaves office and returns to making Billions with his hotels and other property, the babykilling bibleburners will go back to loving him.
