When General Motors and Ford sell more cars, they are involved in more accidents. They undoubtedly advertise more in those places where they sell more cars. Does that mean that the car companies are responsible for additional accidents in those places? That they are purposefully plotting to create more accidents?

Unless someone kept 20 years of receipts, how do can you possibly prove you used Johnson&Johnson products?

Johnson and his brother never told anyone to put that powder in their coochie.

Them clients put that powder in they coochie on their own.

Laws no, nobody is responsible for anything put in
a coochie except the owner of said coochie.

The blame needs to be placed on those physicians who prescribe opioids irresponsibly, and on street drugs. What I can envision is that pharmaceutical companies will cease manufacturing pain meds completely, and the subsequent unavailability of effective pain meds for any reason including major surgery and for end-stage cancer sufferers.

Of course those of us who have seen the ladies who meet and market these physicians know that the drug companies have hit on a way to get through the office red tape and meet with the doctors in their offices.

Nevertheless, I do not believe that most doctors over prescribe pain medication,. Our son would not have made it through rehab without some of these drugs, and yes, he had to work to get off them later, but he had recovered from some of his injuries by then.

The company has to appeal, and win because anything else lets the opponents of freedom win.

Same with their opioid addiction law suit. J&J didn’t hold a gun to the pill poppers’ heads forcing them to get addicted, buy on the black market and doctor shop to get more fixes. Clients did it themselves.

Should I sue Hershey’s for me bending my elbow and eating more candy than I should? No, that’s all my fault.

I learned one thing from the J&J lawsuit: lawyers make lousy spokespeople.

They’re pretty shitty at managing money too, but Congress is loaded with them.

Wait until you go for your next medical procedure, and they tell you no painkillers are available.

And that is ironic because my husband had an ATV accident and getting the oxycodone to manage the pain has been an ordeal.

The doctors are almost ridiculously stingy with the pain meds and the insurance won’t cover it for more than a couple weeks, which is not enough for broken ribs and a badly broken leg.

I appreciate them not wanting people to get addicted and we don’t want to, but the staff at the doctors office said that these days many terminal patients are needlessly suffering because of the restrictions.
