US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reported 489 illegal immigrants with a criminal record, in violation of immigration law, were released from jails across North Carolina during the fiscal year 2019, despite having detainers placed on them.

If this was is “in violation of immigration law” why aren’t people being arrested?
They pulled out all the stops for that special election.
If Republicans manage to get control of the House, one of the FIRST bills through should be one making injured citizens able to sue state and local officials AND all levels of judges, PERSONALLY, in federal court, for injuries inflicted by an illegal who was released despite a federal detainer request. This intentional harm to citizens needs to stop.
I wish a list of those cities and counties who are guilty would be published.

Wasn’t NC were the clerk was arrested for not following federal law and issuing same sex marriage licenses? Even though at the time it was still against NC law to do so.
