Michelle Malkin to Headline Pro-ICE Rally on Friday Protesting Sanctuary Montgomery County, MD After 8 Illegal Aliens Charged with Rape in Past Month
Conservative icon Michelle Malkin will headline a pro-ICE rally Friday in Montgomery County, Maryland calling out the sanctuary county for protecting illegal aliens in the wake of the arrest of eight illegal aliens in the past month on rape and sexual abuse charges--many involving child victims. A counter-protest by leftist groups is planned with County Executive March Ehrlich as a speaker. (One counter-group passed along a rumor Donald Trump Jr. may appear at the pro-ICE rally: "There are rumors that Donald Trump Jr. will be there")
Malkin is a former resident of Montgomery County.
The rally is being held at the county government building at 100 Maryland Avenue in Rockville from 11 a.m. to noon and will also feature WMAL-FM talk radio host Larry O'Connor, local conservative activists and Montgomery County Republican Party chairman Alexander Bush.
Statement by organizer Concerned Citizens Coalition of Montgomery County posted on Facebook:
"Get off the sidelines. Show your support for ICE and the rule of law. Protect American families and children and put sanctuary anarchists in Montgomery County on notice! Bring American flags, signs. Time for Montgomery County, Maryland to terminate the dangerous “Promoting Community Trust” Executive Order implemented in July 2019.Demand Montgomery County Executive Marc Erlich and the entire Montgomery County Council begin working with federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to remove illegal alien criminals from our streets.
Demand that Elrich and the County Council serve the citizens instead of front groups like CASA of Maryland and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

Event: MoCo Stands With Immigrants
Montgomery County is a major location of the proverbial limousine liberal. It recently had (perhaps still has) a program called “transfer of development rights” whereby a builder could build more homes (often townhouses) than are usually allowed on a tract if they preserved additional common green space. The big “but” is that the extra green space could be in a totally different location, sometimes adding green space to a wealthy area with huge homes and large lots near country clubs in the western part of the county while the crowded-together homes were in the middle and working class eastern part of the county.
Both groups say that they will gather at 100 Maryland Ave. When FReepers sponsored rallies on the mall, a permit was necessary. Other gatherings were not permitted in the same general vicinity. Has this changed?
And she is small, or my wife prefers, “petite.” She could very easily be overpowered. Unfortunately, I can’t be there with her either. Don’t live in that state. But it may be coming to my state, too and soon.

I don’t know the particulars, but I assume everyone has their permits. Looks like an interesting action, wish I could be there.
