Until the advent of Sulfa Drugs, followed by Penicillin, in the 1930s, natural remedies, such as Lugol’s Solution (around since the 1830s), were a staple in the pharmacopia of Medical Doctors.
Hippocrates would lose his license for malpractice in today’s culture.
