Don Jr. is not DJT. Unlike his father, there is no way that the Presidency will be his first attempt at elective office. Don Jr. must get elected to something before he can be taken seriously.

Unfortunately, it's one thing to indict someone on obvious law breaking. Sadly, it all depends on the judge and jury in the given area that will determine who goes free and who does not.

I was glad to see Alton Brown’s Good Eats is back. It was certainly the best long-running food science program ever. I would like to see Iron Chef America back too, but it seems to be in a perpetual state of limbo.

I like most of Ramsay’s shows. I like cooking competition shows, in general, so I like Hell’s Kitchen and Master Chef. I won’t watch Master Chef Jr. because I can’t stand cute kids with hats.

I found a Ramsay mini-series on Amazon Prime that was pretty good: Gordon Behind Bars, where he goes to a British prison to try to set up a business where prisoners cook, and their products are packaged and sold in the open market. It was only four episodes, but I found it quite interesting.

I’ve never tried risotto either. It sounds like it requires a lot of time and attention, so I’d try it only if someone else cooked it. My local college dorm cafeteria, where I eat occasionally has it on the menu every so often, but I haven’t been there on one of those days yet. They have surprisingly good food for a cafeteria, though, and I get all I can eat for $6.75, with a humongous menu to choose from.

Once the decision came down that McCabe's appeal was denied, DOJ has no choice but to go ahead. I don't believe the propaganda coming out of Lawfare that a grand jury refused to indict McCabe.

Hopefully, this week we will start receiving some unredacted documents ahead of the IG report that will be released in early October.

In terms of IG reports, I have repeatedly warned that they are in-house, self-inspections that tend to protect the institution. They are long on process recommendations and short on identifying criminal activity. The DOJ IG is confined to interviewing only those in DOJ. They don't have subpoena power. And Deep State influences everything that comes out of the bureaucracy.

DOJ, Barr, Wray, etc. will do whatever is necessary to keep the surveillance tools they now have. They will rationalize what they do in the name of national security. Even Nunes and others want to keep FISA and other NSA tools to surveil the American people and our potential enemies. Civil liberties are being compromised.
