Kamala Harris wanted to go to a black school. That's what black folks called Howard University in the early 1980s when Harris was a teenager considering her future.

Most of her “color” comes from her Indian mother, her Jamaican father is almost as white as I am.

At the time I got my political science degree from Wayne State University, it had the largest proportion of blacks enrolled outside of “traditional black colleges” in the United States.
I learned about harmonious cooperation of diverse types of people. I’m incorrectly still called a white racist deplorable Trump supporter. Guilty of everything but the racist part.
In Woody Allen’s Sleeper he said “I was in my senior year in college when I died was was frozen for the future. Majored in Black Studies. If I had finished I would have been black by now.”
That’s what Willie Brown liked and she had to play the part to get all those cushy jobs and raises. She spent so much time on her back, she probably got vertigo when she stood up.

From their rhetoric and actions, liberals and Democrats are against “harmonious cooperation of diverse types of people”.
“Sleeper” was one of the two funniest, greatest movies Woody ever made. The other was “ Grab the money and Run.” Everything else thereafter was down hill.
Some of us still consider the content of one’s character to be more important. But we’re the quaint old-fashioned sort.
Her “black” part is mostly white, inherited from one of Jamaica’s most successful slave owners and exploiters.

That might make sense if her mother were Black, but her mother was from India.
Why is she thinking or knowing that her daughter is "unquestionably, simply, black?"

In England, maybe, but so far as the US is concerned, that's ridiculous. Even in Canada, there was quite a difference between Jamaicans and Indians.
She is one of them, even if they mispronounce her name. (It's KAM-ala.)
Or as she says "Comma-la." Maybe the name is pronounced that way and maybe it isn't. It isn't pronounced quite that way in Tamil or Hindi, and the suspicion - right or wrong - is that she says "Comma-la" to make her name sound more like "Pamela."
Or maybe "Kamala" comes from Finnish, where it means "horrible" or "terrible."
It’s okay, the white guy got their second, batting cleanup.
So her doctor Indian mother was smart enough to know Camel-a would get affirmative action advantages if she leaned toward her fake black/Jamaican roots.
(Right now Lori Laughlin is wishing she were a “persecuted” minority...)
