There are times when even DJT has to make soothing sounds to quiet the Nervous Nellies in our midst.

I figured from the start that any regulatory changes would be, at most, cosmetic in nature.

America doesn’t have a gun problem. It has a huge mental illness problem.

And that problem is caused by families breaking up for no good reason other than the woman’s need to “find herself.” This leaves the man devastated emotionally and financially, and the children without the guidance of a father.

It’s not guns, it’s feminism that kills.

The Gun Grabbers want to immediately bathe in the blood of the dead before the bodies grow cold every time some lunatic murders a bunch of people. The key is to stall until passions die down. Once cooler heads prevail, they can’t accomplish any of their gun grabs.

Trump has done a masterful job of doing just that.

That does imply that there are some Republican plans to pass red flag legislation--probably something to put pressure on more states to pass it. So it will probably be done stealthily and quickly. Watch for it.

If that is what is done, prepare for a really sad 2020 election and economic and other consequences during the years that follow.

A big reason that during the so-called ‘Partition Riots’ in India in 1947 were so horrific is that after the Sepoy Revolt in 1857 the British pretty well disarmed Bengal and the Punjab where owning arms was common and poor men owned swords if they could not afford a musket or shotgun. Consequently people had no defense against large well organized mobs armed with chains, lengths of pipe, two x fours, and lathis, (steel tipped clubs). Thus Sikh mobs murdered Muslims wholesale and muzzies murdered Hindus and Sikhs in similar numbers. After the Indira Gandhi assassination by one of her secret service type bodyguards, who was a Sikh, the same thing happened in Delhi. Hindu mobs hunted down Sikh's just like a pogrom in the Ukraine. The Sikh population, including many professionals and educators and retired army officers were effectively helpless as the mobs rampaged and the police only took action to arrest the few Sikh’s trying to keep the mob at bay with single shot rifles and shotguns. This sort of thing will happen in Blue areas once the third world mob ‘changes the demographic’ and the rats make gun ownership a felony.
