A leading proponent of building bridges between churches and LGBTQ Christians will speak Tuesday at Baylor University, where debates over sexuality and faith have come to the forefront.
The Baylor School of Social Work is hosting a discussion with Justin Lee, a nationally known author and founder of the Gay Christian Network.
Lee will speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on the fifth floor of the Cashion Academic Center. The event is free and open to the public.

God dealt with this issue 2,000 years ago.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15).
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet” (Romans 1:26-27).

My favorite evangelist Lester Roloff disowned Baylor, his alma mater (he provided milk from his own cow to the school to help pay his way through) back when they honored Truman, because of Truman’s salty language. Brother Roloff saw the writing on the wall.
Yes, how can what God Himself calls “abomination” be called by the beautiful name of “Christian” (follower of Christ)? If you follow Christ, you follow His Word, and His Word calls homosexuality abomination.
Baylor touts itself as a Baptist University. Guess they are following the path of Notre Dame claiming to be a Catholic University. Thanks for the heads up there Baylor.
