Just thinking about an armed drone with a video link and a game controller. That’s not a robot but who doubts that it will evolve to one over time.

Not me.

But treaties and conventions are not the answer. I suggest that AK-47s will be the people’s choice.

Saiga 12 might work better on flying targets!

“I suggest that AK-47s will be the people’s choice.”

Yes, killer robots require us to rethink which guns we need and non-gun owners to reconsider their decision to not own a gun.

This almost sounds like fun. The satisfaction of destroying an attacker that isn’t even a human being, meaning you don’t have a murder on your conscience.

These rascals will have eyes so you need to stay out of sight when you shoot them.

Wonder if killing a killer robot will be ruled a crime.

I think the killer bots will be armored you will need something bigger that an AK-47 to take them on. Probably with a warhead. Of course this isn't legal for civilians right now.

The other possibility is flying ones, but a lot smaller than the current crop of military drones. With AI and facial recognition I don't think anyone is safe.
