The real CIA: Tens of thousands of donut-eating Big Government employees in Northern Virginia
American Thinker ^ | 10/04/2019 | Ishmael Jones

The CIA’s involvement in the Steele dossier fraud and its use of college professor agents against the Trump campaign were cartoonish. The dossier reads like it was written late in the evening after a few drinks.

The current CIA whistleblower operation is dramatically more sophisticated. The written complaint was obviously put together by teams of experts. It’s all nonsense, but it’s excellent nonsense. There’s sloppiness -- the inspector general got caught altering whistleblower procedures to grease the wheels for this operation, as discovered by Sean Davis at the Federalist. But the CIA is evolving and becoming better at operations against American political targets. I give them a tip of the hat for their professional improvement.

The CIA is far from being the murderous threat of a KGB or Gestapo, and its tactics so far have been weaselly, assaulting our democratically elected leadership with sneakiness and innuendo. Nevertheless, its attacks on President Trump have been the most significant attacks our President has faced. CIA employees have no intention of assassinating Donald Trump, but they do seek to assassinate his presidency.

The CIA’s founders would be horrified. They insisted as a condition of the CIA’s founding in 1947 that it was not to be a KGB or a Gestapo which preyed upon its own citizens. The CIA was forbidden from targeting Americans or running operations in the United States. Yet here we have the unthinkable -- a CIA officer working an intelligence operation against the President, within the White House.

Today the CIA is overwhelmingly a domestic organization. The reason for this is its massive growth and presence in the Washington area. More than 90% of its employees never leave the D.C. area, and the idle hands of its legions of bored employees do the devil’s work.

JFK was right when he said it should be broken into a million pieces.

Leaking top secret classified information to the media, that's treasonous.

As the smoke starts to clear, I’d issue a down-sizing order, and cut 10-percent by summer of 2020, and another 10-percent by summer of 2021.

If you have enough CIA agents who preoccupation is to spy upon the President....you probably have too many. I’d also offer up a shuffle of facilities, and move a quarter of the folks to Provo, Utah.

Yep. And at best the President’s own political party is ambivalent about that. Imagine the GOP outrage if the CIA had been running a spy op inside the Obama WH.

Treason....

No, it’s Sedition. However, I think we are parsing words for the reality of what is going on. The facts remain that government was turned into a weapon under the Obama regime. All of the ‘whistleblowers’ didn’t say a word while it was going on before. The will crawl out of every section of government with grandiose claims and self righteousness, while they KEPT SILENT during the use of the same agencies to target conservatives under Obama.

This will continue until hangings begin, like after the Lincoln assassination, preferably right on the mall or White House lawn. Barr, as I have stated before, better get off his bagpipes and make something happen, before everyone loses complete faith in Washington DC and decide to retake Federal Government. Millions of lives are at stake now, the DOJ must shake off the political yokes of the last administration and do their jobs.

NOVA (Northern Virginia) where I lived in Alexandria and Holland Hills, Fort Hunt for a part of life, has been deluged with swamp spillover from DC for years and years. It is no longer Virginia, it is DC sprawl.

The beginning of the end of the CIA was the election of Bill Clinton. During his administration it was defanged as an effective American security agency. Nothing was done to fortify or restore it under Bush. Under Obama it was transformed into a leftist mafia like bureaucracy designed to serve the Democratic Party and its interests. It is so toxic that the only real choice that Trump will have in his second term will be to largely disband it.

We shoulda let Frank Church finish the job.

“But the CIA is evolving and becoming better at operations against American political targets. I give them a tip of the hat for their professional improvement.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if the CIA would get better at, you know, FOREIGN operations and analysis?

They completely missed the Soviets going nuclear.

They completely f’d up the overthrow/assassination of Castro.

They completely missed Russian missiles in Cuba until the Air Force found them.

They completely missed the 1973 Mideast War, and the resultant oil embargo.

They completely missed the fall of the Soviet Empire. FFS, the CIA was CREATED to counter the Soviets, and even my oblivious brother who visited the USSR in 1988 (to smuggle in bibles) told us that their entire society was falling apart.

The completely missed what happened to Saddam’s WMDs (because he HAD them - but got rid of them before we invaded).

WTF have they done right when it comes to their actual mission? Not much, from what I can see. Now they see their job as overthrowing any POTUS with whom they disagree. Kennedy was right - disband the thing, and scatter its employees to a thousand different places.

Not gonna happen. The Civil Service, NGOs, corporations and Wall Street bankers run this country. Oh, I almost forgot the foreign donors.

Great history on how useless and dangerous to Americans the CIA has been since the Castros/Che took over Cuba, 90 miles from America.

Also, their screw ups that got us into the Nam War would fill up several pages.

Thanks

The word I would have substituted for “donut” has only four letters.

Get them out in the field. Move most of them to Afghanistan and Pakistan, there should be no more than 10% in DC. If they don’t want to move lay them off. This is the most vile thing I have ever seen.
