Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shahid “Shad” Khan has bought a majority stake in Black News Channel, a cable-and-satellite network that’s set to launch Nov. 15 in 33 million US households.
Khan didn’t disclose the size of his investment, but a source familiar with the deal said it exceeded $25 million. Another called it “open-ended,” adding that “whatever Khan gets involved in, he’s in all the way.”

His football team isn’t doing too good. I’ve been noticing a lot of empty seats in stadiums that used to always be packed. When I watch the highlights on ESPN it’s like they are trying to avoid showing the empty stands. What’s that saying that I’ve been hearing lately? Oh ya, get woke go broke. The NFL and Sports Illustrated are two examples.

What’s their deal? Are they going to report news only of interest to the black community?

Will we see a homosexual news channel? A news channel for other minority groups?
I’m sure I’m missing something. The news, if honestly reported, is news no matter the color of your skin.
On the other hand if they will have talking head programs featuring Van Jones types who deliver their spin, then you wonder how many will tune in.
